Goodman's Department Store — Attraction in Pagosa Springs

Love so much about Goodman's.. however, I am unable to shop here as the prices are unbelievably high 😔 .. I will say.. anytime I have gone in even just to look and hope maybe I could find and afford what I'm searching for customer service as always been awesome and has retained that home town feel that I remember from back in the 70s and 80s as a teenager.. I did back in 2015 buy a pair of boots that they gladly ordered through their book that was priced somewhat reasonable at $99.00 , they did not charge any extra for all the extra leg wrk and went the extra mile to help me get what I was looking for.. and again that same yr I again ordered a stuffed Bear as a gift.. they gladly shipped it to me as I had to be out of town when it came in.. So I gladly give the sincere hometown customer service 5+ stars.. and at least 3 to 4 stars for product.. but the extremely high prices .. affordability for your local everyday average "joe" only 1 star... over all due to the extremely high prices.. even on sale items.. / I went to look at purchasing a purse this mth and even on sale it was over $100.00.. like $129.00 or there about.. on sale.. Had a price between $40 n $50 been the sale price tag I gladly would have spent my Christmas money.. I would love to buy and shop local.. but at these prices...

Thank you Belinda for being so patient in helping us with boot sizes. And you are one very lovely lady with a great eye for fashion. This store would make Great Great Grandpa very proud. A huge selection of Western goods from knives to blankets. Only things missing are authentic Native goods from the Real West. Wondering how much contact GG Gramps had with the Athabascan peoples who came here to this sacred ground and these sacred waters for healing. Are there historical records available to authenticate the Tribal peoples, Utes, Kiowa, Paiute, Dine', Komanche, who roamed this area and may have had traded goods...

I love this store so much I asked if I could work there, I'm so glad I did. The ladies are so fun and the customers are friendly and so interested in all the many things Goodman's has for everyone in the family.
