Sometimes there is a long line a the copy center and people think the employees are incompetent, but did you ever stop and think that it's you that is incompetent?

While in store, workers were nice. But didn't want to stock coffee shelf, saying, 'we're out of'... Manager finally went to the storeroom to get me hazelnut.

I normally don't give one star but I am because of this employee that you have I don't remember her name but she was tall and slender and she worked yesterday which was May 3rd in the morning. I came in there expressing to her that my son had just died and that I needed help printing up the mortuary papers to have him cremated and to help me send them back to where they came from in Arizona and she just said that I had to do it myself and I asked her for help on my phone to help me learn how all she did was asked me to put my phone down and turn it around for her to see and she tisked with her tongue at me I proceeded to inform her that the reason why I come to Staples is because they're the professionals and I don't know how to get documents off my email so that I can sign them and then resend them through the email she started to say I don't appreciate how you were trying to make me look like I'm not trying to help you and I said will you are the professional that's why I come here because I don't know how to do it I'm a senior citizen and I'm not tech savvyshe continued to go towards the other employee who seemed like a manager a short Hispanic lady with glasses and told her that she doesn't wish to serve me anymore so I told the young lady who she told that to yes we're having a personality conflict can you please help me and the tall girl just rolled her eyes at me and said something under her breath that I did not hear but I thought it was insubordination to be honest with you if I was on a job I would have instantly gotten fired from my poor customer service so the young lady with the glasses came over to the machine and explain to me that now we all have to do it by ourselves so we proceeded towards the machine and the lady explained how to do the touch screen and then we got to the point where it needed a credit card and that's when I was done I'm like all I have is cash and I'm not going to use a credit card for a 50-cent copy piece of paper at which time I just walked out my feelings were very hurt over the fact that I had just told her that my son died and I needed to send these papers and she acted with no compassion noheartfelt I'm sorry how can I help you I really don't believe that she belongs there I've never been treated so poorly at Staples I've been there numerous times and I know I haven't been there for over a year and it was explained to me by the lady with the glasses that it's been over a year since you guys switched over to self-service and you don't print up papers for us anymore that's all that's all young lady had to say I would describe her race but I don't want to sound or come across like a bigot if she doesn't have the time to explain or the fortitude to help maybe that's not the place for her if she doesn't want to do customer service and she's going to get upset every time somebody needs some help I will not be going back I had to drive 22 mi just to the Staples just to be rejected for the help that I needed I don't think I'll be going back to Staples for their copy center anymore due to the fact of poor customer service I actually drove back to my hometown and hadUPS do it. AND THEY ACTUALLY GAVE ME THE COPY FOR FREE BECAUSE MY SON HAD JUST DIED. STAPLES AS MUCH SCREENING AS YOU DO ON YOUR EMPLOYEES I THINK THAT YOU NEED TO DO PERSONALITY ASSESSMENTS ON PEOPLE SOME PEOPLE ARE NOT MEANT TO BE CUSTOMER...

I am really big on customer service. The process of interacting with another, ideally knowledgable, human, is few & far between these days. The appeal of this process is what encouraged me to opt out of just doing in-store pick up, and speak directly to a sales associate to get an informed opinion about which printer I should purchase. When I arrived, it seemed everyone was preoccupied with other guests and a long check out line. So I took myself to the printer section myself, after doing my own initial research online to narrow it down. I waited for someone to approach me, and finally an employee named Eric came to my aisle with a couple other guests he was wrapping up with. Maybe he didn't notice me while I was trying to make eye contact with him, but instead of acknowledging me and asking if I needed help, he walked away. I was really trying to expedite the process of buying a printer & move on with my day, so I went and tracked him down and asked if he was still helping those other guests. He said he wasn't, so I proceeded to ask my questions. I felt like I was bothering him, so I rushed through my questions as to not take up too much of his time. After he walked away, I continued doing some research on the printers, and someone named Alex approached me. He was very kind, and honest about his printer knowledge. His eagerness to help me (along with the woman who was likely a manager due to her different colored shirt) is the reason I'm leaving 4 stars instead of 1. The girl at checkout was very helpful as well. I just wish these employees at B&M stores understood that they play a big role in the customer service world, and should maybe get a desk job if they aren't up for the challenge of "dealing"...

Worst place ever. I emailed my print job from my office. I went to the store on roming road to get my copies ,and also buy a new office printer. I arrived but needed to go to the restroom first. I found the restroom on my own. They had a code for the door. I thought oh ill get the code and use the rest room. I had to get in line to get the darn code. When I made it to the front to finally get a code I was rudely informed that I needed to go back and wait at restroom for an employee to open the door for me. Ok someone finally showed up and let me in. I felt like a criminal and a child. Ok time for coppies. I wait in line again. Its finally my turn. I was told that they now have a new email and I had to resend my work. Than they will email me a code. Than I had to go to another line put in the code and do it myself. I asked if she could help me and she told me if she helps she had to charge me a service fee. I tried to resend from my phone. It would not work . Not a strong signal in the store. I asked for the wifi passcode. She refused to give it to me. I saw no reason to spend 300 dollars on a new printer there. Im going to use vista print (like it said in the other bad review) in the future. I will call a real copy store to order my printer. WHAT A WAIST OF TIME FOR ME. PLEASE NEVER GO THERE TO...
