Edit to add: My rating is a reflection of the property itself. The employees and staff were all very courteous and friendly. They are honestly this property's GREATEST ASSET, so I do hope management truly appreciates and takes care of them during these crazy times.

Review: I don't understand all of the 5 star reviews...

This is a very old building. They should've taken the opportunity during Covid shut down to do some renovations. The whole room, especially the cabinetry and bathrooms, really show their age. You can see the wear and tear on the toilet seat from all the different guests over the years.... That's very off-putting during a pandemic. I honestly feel like with this extra resort fee charged to guests, they should most definitely be able to afford new toilet seats at the minimum.

Pros: Loved that we were on the beach They have a hose to rinse off All balconies are beach facing The daytime receptionist is a sweetheart, she seems to truly care about guests I couldn't find a check-in time for the life of me, but someone said on their review that it was 4pm? We arrived at 2 and got into our room in no time!

Cons: Our microwave was extremely rusted on the inside (more evidence of wear and tear that needs to be addressed). Instead of replacing with a new one, they just placed another one on the food bar and took up more space. The breakfast and wifi is NOT included in the price. You will be charged an additional resort fee upon arrival if not already online. Breakfast, even with paying the additional resort fee, is very lacking. Generic morning muffins with too many preservatives. An oatmeal machine that pours more water than oatmeal, my sister ended up with a soup she just threw away. Cereal and bagels. That's about it. At least the OJ was good. We were told they HAD resumed room service only for them to not arrive any of the 2 days we were there. We asked the front lady during breakfast and she asked housekeeping who asked their manager who said yes. So we were very disappointed when we came back from the beach with no new clean towels. And our trash cans still full. It's very frustrating that we are only provided with two tiny trash cans for our whole stay duration if they aren't willing to come empty them. Mattresses belong in a motel 8 instead of a Beachside Resort. They're old spring mattresses with the thinnest mattress cover. There is only one elevator so expect to wait or take the stairs. If you take the stairs please make sure to read my Major Hazard warning below.

MAJOR SAFTEY HAZARD: Poor drainage throughout the building. We were on the 5th floor. It rained and we had a PUDDLE in front of our whole door. It was at least an inch deep and 3 feet wide minimum. The stairs have absolutely NO slip control. Tons of standing water between stair levels and the steps are soaking wet. They need to at least add grip tape. They should be able to afford it with their "resort fee." Water from AC units above are constantly draining onto balconies below and dripping on you as you walk under. Seems a bit unsanitary.

My takeaway: For the price I paid, even heavily discounted due to off season and COVID, I will probably not be coming back. ($109/night not including hotel fees and taxes, nor the resort fee).

This place is branding itself as a "resort" and even charges a resort fee. They should do more to live up to the "resort" name or rebrand to a motel or inn. I've stayed in Days Inn and Sleep Inn in Pensacola and Destin for much cheaper and have SIGNIFICANTLY better quality breakfast, mattresses, amenities and just generally everything, all WITHOUT resort fees.

This was my first time at PCB and these inflated prices are highly overrated. Destin and Seaside waters are much more clear and beautiful. Will not be coming back to PCB if this is the standard of...

STAY HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! This place is horrible. I read the mixed reviews and thought oh maybe these people are just being uppity and this place wouldn't be so bad... Some reviews are terrible some are not so bad.. DONT BE FOOLED! First I booked through Expedia but did my research on their and this hotels specific website for any deposit charges just because I like to know what I'm going to be paying so I have all my bases covered... NO WHERE did I find anything saying anything about a deposit which I don't mind to pay I just like to know about it before arriving at the property... I paid for the room and then planned to pay the 79 dollar resort fee ( mind you this place is way less than a resort and in my opinion there shouldn't even be one) regardless I expected to pay that . At check in the lady at the front maybe I misunderstood her I'm not sure but she said there would be a 50 dollar deposit at that time I still didn't have a problem only when I went out to the car and came back in to her telling me my card didn't approve the $250 deposit... I then was very confused and she explained there was a fifty dollar PER NIGHT deposit of which my husband gave in cash... Nothing was said about the $77 resort fee till check out to which by this point I was very annoyed because even after paying a cash deposit there were three attempts to take $250 then 200 then 250 from my account.. Upon check out they then wanted to charge the 77 dollar resort fee and checked our room and because the chlorine washed pink hair dye from my daughters hair on their towel and considering housekeeping never came around one time to offer a towels or to take our trash there were a couple of bags of trash by the trash can which was also full because I brought my own trash bags from home there was no trash in the floor when I left the room but when the head housekeeper went to check it she came back and said there was a diaper on the floor to charge $50... I'm sorry but I thought that was part of a housekeepers job description??? This woman Belena I believe was so INCREDIBLY RUDE the front desk attendant didn't want to give me her name so I could file a complaint I'm still looking for the corporate office number for this place if anyone could help me out with that I would greatly appreciate it... DONT STAY HERE THEY WILL FIND A WAY TO TAKE YOUR MONEY ONE WAY OR ANOTHER!!!!!!!! IT'S DISGUSTING AND DESPICABLE AS WELL ...

I was called to be made aware of an a/c issue so they switched me to another hotel under same management. Before I arrived I called the front desk and it happen to be the manager. I spoke with her stating my issue and if she could discount another night if I booked with them. She said she would review the rates and she would let her night audit know of what rate she approved due to the inconvenience of the issue. When I arrived the night audit had no idea of this issue and said she wasn't calling a manager even though she left 10 minutes ago to resolve my issue. So I went to the room provided after the rude attitude from night audit. When I arrived in the room at Hotel Terrance it was disgusting, stains everywhere on furniture, walls, counters, no shower curtain, no linen. This room was terrible mind you I have two small children under 10 with me. I went from a 3 star hotel to a 2 star and it was terrible. I let the front desk agent know of the issue and asked to move rooms it's 12:00am at this point. She stated she had no additional rooms, I said well then you'll need to call your manager and have me moved to another hotel that's 3 star like I booked. She called another hotel and had me transferred to the Radisson hotel I think that's what it's called. Upon arrival they didn't have my reservation yet (understandable) she made a reservation and checked me in. A/c smelt like food and there was a leak in the living area coming from the wall. At this point it's 2am and I'm exhausted. We went to sleep. In the morning I tried calling to see if they could offer a discount or comp room for significant issues I had and she told me no that she would check with the original hotel because they couldn't do anything. At this point I asked for a refund. I booked through a 3rd party but I'm still waiting on any response from this hotel BEACH TOWER about a refund. I would appreciate a refund please in a timely manner. This trip was awful won't be back and I will not recommend anyone to these hotels in the future. I only had pictures of the water by the light coming out the wall but that was when I woke. I was too exhausted to take pictures of everything the night prior.

Oh and no pool towels all day at the last hotel. Seems like housekeeping needs better management(will be leaving reviews on each hotel at...

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING!! I was so hopeful for this place! First time staying here, and it was our 15-year anniversary! We stayed 6 nights. Check in was ok except we paid cash so I knew we would have a $200 cash deposit as well, when we got there it jumped up to $300, we settled on $250 because I was just too tired to argue. Check your room before you take your stuff up!! The elevator was broken for 2 days, and several people got stuck on it! They only had one luggage trolley. We are smokers and knew it was a non-smoking property, we travel a LOT, and we are always respectful of others' property. We stayed on the beach ALL day, not coming back until it got dark besides to grab food. Check out was HORRENDOUS!!! We knew they would have to check the room so we could get our deposit back, well we were VERY RUDELY ACCUSED OF SMOKING WEED AND CIGARETTES IN OUR ROOM! WE DONT EVEN SMOKE WEED AND WE DONT SMOKE CIGARETTES INSIDE AT HOME SO WHY WOULD WE THERE!?!? They TRIED to keep my whole deposit, but I was not having it!!! We didn't bother anyone all week & and honestly, the whole time we were there, that's all you could smell was WEED!! And I don't care because it's none of my business, but when you accuse me and my husband of doing something we don't do, I'm going to point out the obvious!! We didn't pick the best hotel but the location was great!!! The ONLY good thing about this place is Ms. Karen and the location!!!! The elevator is not up to codes. It was out of date so I'm assuming the building probably isn't either!!! Our room had cracks all in the ceiling, the hand rails on our balcony were super sketchy!! The front desk people minus Ms Karen and one other young man, were extremely rude. They would ignore you and walk away!! The woman who accused us of smoking in our room must have been head of housekeeping and she was so nasty! Disgusting attitude! Oh and she wouldn't let us go back up to get our alcohol we left in the fridge by accident!! This place needs to completely re hire and update!! I will never be back while those Disgusting people work there!! We have traveled for 8 years and always pay cash, we have NEVER not gotten our deposit back!! Yall be careful because the people who work there, minus Ms Karen, are SUPER SKETCHY!

**Beautiful Beachfront Property with Stunning Views — Just Be Prepared for Some Inconveniences** We recently stayed at this beachfront property in Panama City Beach, booked through Booking.com and managed by Vacasa, and overall, we had a great experience — with a few caveats worth noting for future guests. **Strengths:** 🌅 **Breathtaking Views** – The absolute highlight of this property is the view. Whether you're enjoying sunrise with a coffee or watching the sunset over the water, the scenery is spectacular. You’re right on the beach, and the balcony views are unforgettable. 🏖️ **Beach Perks Included** – Our reservation came with complimentary beach chairs and an umbrella, which was a fantastic bonus and extremely useful during the hot summer days. It's a great touch that adds real value. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 **Family- and Group-Friendly** – The unit was clean, spacious, and well-suited for families or groups of friends. It felt like a home away from home, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. 🚶 **Prime Location** – The location is ideal — only a 5-minute walk to the pier, and with restaurants, shopping, and entertainment options close by. It was easy to explore the area without having to drive everywhere. **Weaknesses:** 🚪 **Elevator Issues** – The biggest downside was the elevator situation. During peak times, the wait can be extremely long, and elevators are often packed. This became a major issue during check-in/check-out and made it difficult to transport luggage. If you're staying on a higher floor, be prepared to wait or take the stairs — which may not be ideal for everyone. 💵 **Paid Parking** – Parking is not included in the cost of the stay, and it's quite steep — \$50 per vehicle, per day. This is something we weren’t expecting and felt should be more clearly communicated upfront. --- **Final Thoughts:** Despite the elevator and parking challenges, this property is still highly recommended for its unbeatable views, great location, and family-friendly setup. Just be aware of the logistical issues, especially if you're traveling with lots of luggage or mobility concerns. We would stay here again — just with better planning next time!
