My husband and I were very hesitant to come here because of these horrible reviews. But, curiosity took over and we made the drive. So glad we did! And I HAD to write my own review because maybe these other people went to another place & not here?? š»We met the nicest people ever!!!š»No one followed us around like I keep reading here... Maybe you just look shady?? Most of their birds were in excellent condition! Birds like to pluck when they're stressed, yes. But who knows that particular birds story? Anyone even ask? Sometimes those feathers do not grow back no matter how long ago they plucked. They honestly didn't seemed stressed out at all to me. They were talking and whistling away when we were there! Every single cage was very very clean. Fresh food & water in all of them. Plus we got to talking about their poor monkey that passed. š¢ They really loved their baby like a child. It didn't live in the store. They took it home. Primates basically live on their owners hip, so you usually can't leave them alone very often.. They drove all the way to Tampa for the best veterinary care for their baby. It developed a life threatening tumor, as humans & pets can. They did everything they could to save their baby!! The poor thing passed during the (I'm sure very expensive) surgery trying to save her life!! So please do not judge this place based on some of these comments. Also, this is truly a REALLY COOL STORE!! They have so much random cool things & clothes! I only wish they had women's bathing suits that matched those really cool metallic men's shorts hanging on the back wall! Lol I looked everywhere, twice! š¤·š¼āāļø Either way, we definitely WILL be back here again! It was an absolute pleasure...

I donāt understand how animal control hasn't been calledāor if they have, why these birds havenāt been removed from this owner. They are living in uninhabitable conditions and urgently need help. I walked in and had to leave before I started crying. I visited this place two years ago, in 2023, and thought the conditions were bad then. Today, I was heartbroken to see that things have gotten tremendously worse.
The owner has consistently shown that she is not capable of caring for animals. The birds are living in appalling conditionsābarely any food, dirty water, broken beaks, bald patches from missing feathers, and they constantly bite at the cages in distress.
If you cannot properly care for an animal, then DO NOT GET ONE.
These exotic birds would be far better off anywhere else than in the care of this owner. All of them are visibly stressed, constantly picking at themselves. One bird (pictured) has lost all the feathers around its neck, likely due to stress, poor diet, or parasites.
I feel sick seeing how neglected these birds are. I genuinely don't understand how this owner hasn't been charged with animal neglect or even jailed.
Iām sure the monkey also...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI visit Florida for 2 dayās and the only place I used my debit card was here! Then I get back home to Alabama and my debit card is being charged at a liquor store all the way in New York! Iāve never been there and donāt know anybody there! Iāve had this debit card for many many years with no problems. Then I look up the problem Iām experiencing and read someone said they visited Florida and someone duplicated their card when it was swiped! And started receiving out of state charges. This is the only conclusion I can come up with and it very well makes sense. They charged my card twice and it went thru then tried buying $95 worth of liquor again! Because the other two went thru smh glad my bank noticed it wasnāt right. Getting drunk on a Monday with almost $200 worth of liquor? They need help. And when I called the liquor store they will not answer yet they close at 11PM!! I called three times! Guess they have called id. And I received a call from New York shortly after swiping my card with this store, same state charging my card. With all this being said, be careful with your card,...
