Michaels — Attraction in Panama City Beach

Always such a pleasure to be shopping at Michaels however; when I went last Saturday, I couldn't find the chalk markers (I always have a tough time anywhere I go finding these) and also could t find glass eyes, so with great hesitation I asked a male store associate for help and what a shock....this young man was eager, yes eager, to assist me and stopped what he was doing to discuss that they only carry the plastic googly eyes and he apologized and he lead me right to the chalk markers....top notch customer service that I really found refreshing and pleasant. I bought several items that were marked on clearance for $3 each. I did not notice what price that it was rung up for until I returned home (9 hour drive). Three of the items was rung up at full price. I called the store and I was told by the manager that I had return to the store (or the nearest Michael's over an hour away) or call customer service. After four calls there is still no resolution. I was told they could give me a gift card . . . But first of all there is not a Michael's close to me, second of all after this experience I have no intention of ever stepping foot in any of their stores ever again. They lie to you just to get you off the phone. STAY AWAY FROM...

Always such helpful staff. Relaxing shopping experience clean uncluttered store. Excellent coupons. Self checkout or assistance choice when checking out. Clearance Items usually 70 to 85% off (including candles). Best of all... excellent selection of paints, sewing and craft supplies. Would be great if every store in town was managed like this one ( and no I do not know anyone that works there and I am not related to anyone that works there, I have been there probably 15 times and always impressed at their consistent professional service. Would be lovely if every store in town was managed like Michaels. It's sad but they are a small group of stores I Enjoy walking thru...
