No Name Lounge — Restaurant in Panama City

Since my move down here from out of state in spring, this was my first time at No Name mingling with my work crew, and now I can see why it is their favorite hangout place ~ super friendly staff, easy to make new friends with other customers, cold beer, and when we were there last week Thursday, a good live band came on too. I brought my dog since we were all on the patio outside enjoying our drink, she is always on the leash and well-behaved (emotional support dog with medical certificate for my PTSD), until sadly last Thursday one of your customers let their German Shepherd dog run around with no leash and no control... Said German Shepherd literally JUMPED into my dog's face twice in full action, so she got scared (after unprompted attacks by unleashed dogs in the past) and barked in fear. My protective friend pushed the big German Shepherd off of my dog and immediately got yelled at... Half an hour later when the German Shepherd launched itself into my dog's face a second time on the patio, I yelled at the elusive owner (somewhere in the crowd) to put his dog on the leash because it is the law. We will definitely come back with friends to hang out on the cozy patio including my leashed dog (who got petted by many customers and gave out doggie kisses in return). Just please educate your other customers to be responsible and fair and always keep their dog on the leash on your property, no matter how friendly they think their dog is. If they have no control over their dog running into another dog's face and scare them, please talk to that dog owner because safety and precaution on your property is your responsibility too. This place has been here forever and it's a nice spot to have a few drinks. Right on the bay so you can pull up on your boat and walk the beach to get there. They have redone the back deck and it's nice to sit on the couches and have a few after a hellacious day. Or after a great day, I find their drinks work either way. Used to be the strongest drinks in town but I dont get out to the bars like I used to anymore so not sure if that is true anymore however a few years back I could guarantee that was true. We rented a jet ski for the day at AAA jet ski rental which is right under the bridge from No Name Lounge we saw it on our return from the Gulf and decided to stop in it is a local dive but it is very very good the service is excellent and the people are very kind we had a blast we will return again to Panama City and we will run again for AAA and I guarantee you No Name Lounge will be on our stop when we leave out to ride in the golf again we're from Dallas Texas and we had the most wonderful time with all the people there in the peninsula thank you No Name Lounge for the great time the...
