This review is not for the show itself since we were unable to see the show. This is for the people at the box office at the Luxor and for the ticketing department. I had booked tickets back in April planning for this trip for almost a year. We centered our day around the Luxor so that we would be able to be close to where the show was at since we are staying on the other side of the strip. We spent a lot of money at this resort centering our day around for this show. We went to the King Tut exhibit, had dinner at Diablos, went to the Mandalay Bay Aquarium to then receive bad treatment by the box office staff at the Luxor which is owned by MGM resorts. My tickets said seven o'clock I had never received an email or notification that it was changed to six o'clock. We went over to the theater about six thirty. The people at the desk at the box office were very unprofessional and extremely rude. They said they had emailed me to let me know the time had changed which I know for a fact is a lie because I didn't receive anything from them, and I know that because I check all my emails and never delete anything from my inbox. Also, other people arrived around the same time as I did, and they turned them away and told them the same thing that they had emailed them which those people said they didn't receive anything. Then they told me they would refund my money since I wasn't going to go to see the show since the show was already an hour in by that point. Which the show is only an hour and fifteen minutes anyway. I had recently changed banks and have a new credit card. They wouldn't transfer the money to my new card even after telling them I no longer have the card I purchased the tickets with since I no longer have the same bank. They refused to change it and told me I had to call some number and it could take 120 days to process. They were very rude and were unwilling to compromise to work with me to make things better. I have been to many shows in Las Vegas and have never seen a show so unorganized and so unprofessional. The staff at the box office as well as the ticketing department need to learn better customer service and learn to treat their customers better. I spent close to 400 dollars for these tickets. I don't recommend seeing this show if this is the way they treat their customers. I would give 0 stars if I could for the unprofessionalism and disrespectfulness, I received by the staff at the box office. Very...
Read moreHere where the Agt acts Light balances Kodi Lee Jorden Conley Silhouette Celia mindez Human fountains Deadly games Pack drumlin’s Mervant
It’s a 1:20 hours:minutes show and some of that was watching old agt videos.
The fact to put the human fountains in this act was a major disappointment. They where not even in the finals.
I Honestly couldn’t tell if I was watching a video or if silhouettes where performing which is to their credit if they actually where but the way they produced it was bad.
The drum line was as about as good as high school band with a few tricks like playing upside down for a few seconds.
Kodi Lee was of course great and the only winnner, but I feel like they made this whole show just for Kodi.
Celia was very good. And we enjoyed light balance.
Mervants magic was dumb, he claims to have picked cards at random but they obviously were not. There is probably just a switch we don’t see. He is a decent rapper.
Jorden was a bit funny on tv but fell flat live. I didn’t laugh at even one of his jokes.
Deadly games was good if you like that kind of thing, I hate the idea of purposely putting yourself in danger.
Overall it was ok but relatively short only a little over a hour.
One thing they don’t mention is it’s $20 to park at the Luxor on weekends so keep that in mind. There really isn’t any free parking in sort ...
Read moreBeen watching AGT for years and was excited to see what the Live show was about. It did not disappoint and was everything you could hope for and more. Entering the show there are plenty of photo ops. I did not order any food or beverage so I cannot comment on that. I'm sure it is standard Vegas show pricing. But I overheard someone ask if they had to discard their drink they got from the casino and they were told they could bring it in.
The stage production was amazing and looked way more elaborate than what you see on the TV show. I have heard they have rotating hosts. The Cripple Threat was the host that night and he started off slow but once he warmed up he had us laughing hysterically.
Every performer was amazing but Kodi Lee was worth the price of the ticket alone. To see his excitement in person is truly heartwarming. Hearing his voice and piano playing live will give you goosebumps and is something everyone must experience.
Light Balance opening and closing the show was superb. I am a fan of and have seen the iLuminate show as well. But Light Balance is on another level. Funkenstein and the team killed it!
Dustin Tavella is such an inspiring dude and his patter and presentation are truly magical. He deserves every bit of the spotlight and more. Can't wait to see when he has a full 1+ hour...
