My friend thought it was so boring I didn't even get to do much. Unfortunately, I couldn't argue that it was a fun place, so we left. It was a waste of time. đ
The staff is friendly when engaged but does NOT help enough. They did not make things clear. There was not enough staff to help on a slow weekday. Some things were difficult to figure out and play. It wasn't clear that there were only enough credits for one game each.
I could barely hear what they said when I walked in, and I wasn't even able to fill out the waiver. I kept trying and just gave up after I was inside, so I'm not sure how to see my scores since I didn't finish. The place is NOT helpful and rush you in.
I suppose maybe they are tired of saying the same thing again and again and again so they try to get as large group as they can so they say it less and then the people in the back can't hear a thing, so who cares, they don't.
The Bullseye was NOT very sticky and most people could NOT stick. They tell you to jump to either side because the middle is not sticky, but the entire thing is not too sticky. So not only can you NOT do a center bullseye, but most people can barely stick.
Some things are broken. Somethings are so hard that most people can NOT accomplish them, such as the ball throw race. Most times nobody makes it to the end because it's so difficult.
If we were made to understand how things worked better, my friend might have not shuffled me out of there so fast and might have gotten to see more.
Not only was it a weekday so the place wasn't even very busy and so the employees were standing around talking to each other a lot, although they were friendly.
It's not as good as advertised, but what made it SO MUCH WORSE was not enough help for what there was.
So much time wasted, although if there had been more help and understanding my friend might not have wanted to leave so soon.
I cannot stress enough that the LACK of UNDERSTANDING and HELP made this experience soooo much worse!
Plus at those prices so many games should just not be broken.
NO 5-stars, but I give...
Read moreMy husband and I are las Vegas locals born and raised, we are also freshly 21 and have soo many things to do on our bucket list and PLAY was on our list, so we recently went and I have to admit I was excited to go because it was promoted a lot and it looked like lots of fun!, but when we arrived It was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT the complete opposite, this place is so small and boring the bartenders seemed like they hated their job not even a smile, certain games where malfunctioning; the match the piece wasn't working the magnets werent strong and wouldnt light up when the piece was placed, twist, pull, push, etc. was glitching and it wouldn't mark it either we stopped half way playing this game bc it was not possible to finish, so we didn't rly win at all these games , there was one game where the ball was going against 2 sticks and it took our card points 2x and then it threw the heavy ball and it ended up getting out and almost hitting someone by us, then operation was out of service and this place is EXTREMELY SMALL you can't even walk through one side to the other bc the bar and the tables by it block it and or you had to wait for people to pass, the walking space is soo minimal there was only one good employee and it was the guy with the megaphone hyping ppl up but all other employees seemed to make faces like they were bothered, the pricing for the drinks was RIDICULOUS my beer tasted SOO BURNT! Also the cocktail size is rly small for what they are priced, but honestly I would never come back here IT IS NOT WORTH THE PRICE AT ALLL keeping in mind that we paid over $100 for 2 people!! If I could rate this place 0...
Read moreI went to the Play Playground on a Friday night at 5pm. As we are Las Vegas residents, we had to purchase tickets there in order to show our ID. The people working at the entrance were super cool, very helpful and patient!! They explained everything well and we were super excited to head inside. There is no food served here - only delicious drinks! I had a Margarita that was absolute heaven!!
We had a total blast at this place. It was not crowded so we were able to move from each activity to the next without any waiting. You get a lanyard and a plastic card which is scanned at each activity. You start with a lot of points which get deducted as you move through the activities. You do have the ability to play all of the games once. If you want to play more, you have to pay.
Some games are single player and some are competitive. There are lots of games and activities. Upstairs, there is a plush seating area where you can relax, people watch and drink. Similar to kids arcades, you can collect points and get prizes. We found the prizes aspect to be quite silly as you have to spend more money to get the best prizes. Despite combining three players points, we were only able to get a small sticker!!
My friends and I thought it was really cool although the place is somewhat small. We stayed for about 2 1/2 hours which includes 30 minutes of talking to the very cute bartender.. I highly recommend this place for fun with friends, family and even co-workers! Itâs definitely worth...
