A gem of a hotel, and to my great surprise, a bicyclist’s dream! First timer to Las Vegas to do some intense gravel biking and attend concerts. This was the best launchpad for my trip for both reasons: not only is Nirvana on the strip just across the street parallel with Mandalay Bay/Luxor, but I was able to relax and clean/maintain my bike OUTSIDE(!!) in the comfort of a beautiful zen garden on premises. I’m not into the big resort vibe. And it turns out that Hotel Nirvana is exactly my jam.
The rooms are quiet, spacious, welcoming and bright. And I was able to park my car just outside my room at no extra charge. There is also no resort fee. The zen garden is an oasis and unique to the strip. There are plenty of sitting areas, tables and shade to enjoy the sunrise, sunset and a midday nap. The water fountain is calming and the ambience is inviting. They also offer a hydro massage in a dedicated zen room. Amazing for tired bike legs!
The owners and staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly, always offering pleasantries and a coffee (and refills!!) in the morning. Breakfast (warm and with variety) is brought to your room each morning in a picnic basket that is prepared next door at a wonderful boutique restaurant. Gourmet chef. . I highly recommend the sandwiches for lunch. Bed is comfy with plenty of pillows. Bathroom is large and clean. Fan is nice for white noise. There is a dedicated security guard who watches over the premises during the evening and overnight hours. Always felt safe and secure. When I was enjoying some downtime in the Zen garden, I observed the staff cleaning and maintaining the premises with the sort of dedication that you only see from people who care about the business they work for. It’s just an all-around positive vibe here.
Excited about how wonderful this place is. And I encourage everyone to stay here at this unique and quiet venue. I’m coming back next...
Read moreLoved this little oasis just off the strip. The staff were all kind and friendly. If we were seen coming in we were asked if we needed anything and if everything was good.. It was super close to the convention center so we would walk to and from as per the reason of us being in Vegas. It was so nice to get back from the hustle and bustle of the city to this more seeming secluded spot and take a shower. The shower has two built-in seats so it felt wonderful to sit and let the water run over. The water gets super hot and lasts, then they also provide robes to their guests. It was so relaxing. A food truck, deli/bakery, boutique and general store are all on site. The bed and bedding was very comfy cozy. We were on the upper level so we had an amazing view of the strip from our window. The garden also has a great view. I read the hotels in the area don't provide fridges as an incentive to buy drinks there, but we had a nice sized mini fridge in the room.. A couple critiques I can think of. We were told our door was more finicky than the others and to make sure it was closed when we left, even when we did we'd come back and it would be ajar, but it wasn't touched and our belongings remained intact. They also have security on site over night which made us feel extra safe. The TV had an HDMI port but it was on the back of the TV, which was wall-mounted so we weren't able to access it. All-in-all it was just what I was looking for when booking for our trip, and we do plan to stay here again in our future stays in Vegas. Great experience. Update: was originally 5 stars but we did not get our deposit back, and left the room in what any hotel has considered "good condition" not sure what reason there'd be, but we are definitely...
Read moreI stayed here one night because I arrived early and then switched over to the Delano for the remainder of our trip, which my company assigned to me. Honestly? I was more impressed with this charming bed and breakfast than the Delano, at a fraction of the cost.
The rooms are spacious and simply decorated. There are down comforters, pillows of multiple firmness levels, and soft mattresses. The bathroom is a little dated, but lovingly decorated and there's plenty of hot water to relax. They even had a little q tip dispenser in the bathroom as a standard offering-- a nice little feature, since I always forget to pack them. The closet is spacious, especially if you're bringing long dresses. They put soft terrycloth robes in each room. And there's a little breakfast bar with cookies, coffee, and hot tea, even if you don't get the breakfast option. We didnt stay long, but we did notice a charming and comfortable courtyard on the property. There's a restaurant in the same parking lot, which is well lit and only available to guests.
Right on the strip and an easy walking distance to Mandalay, Luxor, Excalibur, the New York New York, Mgm Grand, and the monorail terminal in Mgm Grand.
The rooms were very clean and the staff was incredibly friendly. 12/10 experience, would...
