Ri Ra is a great place to enjoy a traditional Irish pub experience in Las Vegas. The restaurant is located in the heart of the Strip, and it features a lively atmosphere, delicious food, and plenty of Irish beer on tap.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ri Ra with some friends. We all ordered different dishes, and we all loved our food. The fish and chips were perfectly cooked, the shepherd's pie was hearty and flavorful, and the Guinness stew was rich and delicious.

The service at Ri Ra was excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive, and he made sure that we had everything we needed. The atmosphere at the restaurant was lively and fun, and it was the perfect place to enjoy a night out with friends.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Ri Ra. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch. I would highly recommend Ri Ra to anyone looking for a fun and festive night out in Las Vegas.

Last year, I visited Ri Ra with my ex-husband for the first time, and we had a great time. I had an amazing Irish bartender, who made sure that our drinks kept flowing and mixed properly with a good amount of alcohol. Typically, the drinks in Vegas are watered down. However, Ri Ra drinks are the complete opposite.

On September 5, 2024, I decided to visit the pub again by myself, hoping to have the same or similar experience. I had a full schedule on the 5th and was not able to get to the bar until about 11:30pm. When I walked in, the waitstaff were all looking at me like I had four heads and giving me dirty looks. This was the most uncomfortable thing to experience as a black person; it made me feel like I did not belong there. When I visited the first time with my ex-husband (who is white), I never had this issue.

Upon walking into the bar on September 5th, I asked the bartender (Hispanic male about 6ft with dark hair) what time they close. He looked at me like I was a piece of trash and, in a rude tone, said, "We close at midnight," and then turned his back on me. I was actually going to have a couple of drinks, but once this guy turned his back on me, I decided against it. This interaction has been the worst customer service I have ever experienced in Las Vegas. If you are a black people, I would not recommend going Ri Ra. There are lots of other places in Vegas that offer good food, drinks, and music that will welcome you...

My wife and I wanted to try this place out on our recent trip to Las Vegas and decided to go for a midday snack. I of course had to get a Guinness Draught, which was perfectly poured. We shared the Scotch Deviled Eggs and we were convinced to get the special Irish Whiskey Bread Pudding. Both were extremely delicious and quite filling. So much for just a snack! We ended up enjoying ourselves so much that we decided to come back the next day for an official dinner. This time I got another Guinness and my wife got a Smithwick's Red Ale, both of which were perfectly poured again. For food we each split the Shepherd's Pie and the Bangers and Mash; again, both were delicious. Our server, Jack D., had us both nights and was a joy to talk to, even if briefly because of how busy it was. We will definitely be back during our next trip and it may just become a staple for us! The only issue we had was the chairs were a bit sketchy and we felt that if we were to move around too much that they'd break. Perhaps it's just because we're on the heavier side of the weight scale, so if you weigh more than 200lbs, I'd try to get a booth instead, which is what we did the second time around. Overall, we recommend coming here and you may just get hooked like we did! One last tip: eat here before going to the Guinness Store next door because your receipt gets you a discount. I found out the hard way!

Oh, and I forgot the most important...

If you're attending the SEMA Show or just passing through Las Vegas, Rí Rá Irish Pub at the Shops at Mandalay Bay is a delicious and authentic Irish dining stop worth every bite! The food truly hit the mark—my grilled salmon was cooked just right, with a delightful sear and a juicy, flavorful interior, complemented by rich, creamy mashed potatoes that tasted like pure comfort. The Caesar salad was unexpectedly exceptional, with fresh, crunchy romaine and a perfectly balanced dressing that made it one of the best I’ve had. The service was equally fantastic. Our server was attentive, quick to bring drinks, and made us feel like valued guests, showing that warm Irish hospitality Rí Rá is known for. While the food and service were top-notch, the atmosphere had a bit of a drawback. The recorded Irish pub music added some lively ambiance, but it was cranked up a bit too loud, making it tough to carry on a conversation at the table without shouting. If they dialed the volume down just a touch, it would be perfect for relaxing and enjoying good company along with the excellent food. Overall, Rí Rá is a must-visit for anyone craving Irish classics with a touch of Vegas flair. Just be prepared to enjoy the tunes with your meal! Highly recommended, especially during the SEMA Show week when some hearty Irish comfort food really hits the spot.

This was a very nicely designed and decorated restaurant. The ambiance was just what you would want from an Irish restaurant/pub. The menu is reasonably priced for the quality of food. The most expensive plate was the steak but at $33, that's like half the price of most steaks at many restaurants in Las Vegas. We ordered the steak with chips (fries). The steak was cooked perfectly and the fries were amazing. We also ordered a mash potato and a Brussel sprouts with bacon side dishes and both were very good. The Guinness Meat Stew was so delicious, very hearty and just what I was looking for. The meat was tender and flavorful. Served in what I would consider a cast iron-type bowl. Absolutely delicious! I can't wait to try the Shepards Pie & Ruben sandwich. The gravy/sauce for the potatoes/fries was the best I've ever eaten. Wow! Of course, the Guinness was beer that was imported (apparently different than the typical Guinness served here in the U. S.) and super smooth - a delicious pint indeed. There was a duet playing on a stage in another room away from our dining area (the stage was closer to the bar area) - it was nice to hear the live music (though it was a little loud for our taste but not so loud that we were uncomfortable). The bathroom was very nice, the tiles were very nice. High quality bathroom that was very clean.
