Larrea — Restaurant in Nevada

We booked a table in advance and received a confirmation reminder on the morning of the booking. We got an Uber and travelled to the restaurant, when we arrived we found out it was shut for a private event - no notice or warning of this. We open the door and the staff have a look of pure disgust and begin to laugh at us, we show the booking and all they say is ‘you shouldn’t have been able to book this’. We flew in from England and had this restaurant booked in advance to celebrate our anniversary and came to vegas for a few days specially for this, as lovers of masterchef we were very excited to attend. We were visiting Vegas for the weekend from Canada and were excited to try Larrea, opened by one of the Masterchefs, as we are fans of the show. The food came out very quickly; we didn’t even have 5 minutes to enjoy our cocktails before it arrived. The main course came out BEFORE the appetizer, then they brought that too so we were trying to eat it all at the same time. Not enjoyable. To top it off, the food was lukewarm when it arrived and quickly got cold as we were juggling it all. Plus, my husband’s short rib was so excessively salty that he found it inedible. I went with a couple friends for dinner. They said that the cocktails they got were very good. We got a bunch of dishes for the table and decided to split everything so we could try it all. We got the charcuterie board (very good), the poutine (okay, think they might have missed the gravy and cheese on our order), the mafaldine with pork sugo (good), the big eye tuna tartar (a big hit with the table!), the bone marrow (everyone liked it, but I loved it!), the seasonal crudo (another big hit with everyone!), and the wings (I didn't try but my friends said they were good.
