Bath & Body Works — Attraction in Philadelphia

I love bath and body works. Who doesn't. Staff is super friendly and very helpful. Something I noticed though and I don't know if it's just me or what, but twice now, I absolutely loved a scent in the store. Loved it so much, that I got several of the same kind. Then when I get home, the smell has completely changed and is actually not very pleasant. So much so that I have returned them and have ones to return now. But like I said It could very well be me, or the fact that I'm smelling so much stuff at once my nose gets confused or something. I love shopping online too, but nothing is better then going into the actual store. One good thing about this store is....I always seem to catch the sales at the very end, and this store seems to have good stuff still until the end. I'm sure there's lots that I missed because of timing, but I was still pretty satisfied with catching the tail end...

selection is ok. the employees are kind of a drawback. i don't know what's up with BBW and their hiring processes lately, but the passive aggressiveness from your cashiers and associates on the floor is getting REALLY old.

your heavyset blonde cashier was getting snippy and nasty like she was going through the biggest rush of the season when there was like five women in the store - max. Got impatient with me about scanning my coupon when it was really on her trying to go too fast and the code not registering. sarcastically told me to download the app.

i've said it before and i'll say it again. it doesn't matter if you plaster on that fake smile and chipper baby voice, your condescending behavior will get your feelings very hurt when you meet your match one day. learn how to treat people...

I love the candles at Bath and Body Works (and a few bath products) so when I don’t feel like paying for shipping online, I go to this store or the one in Center City. I used to work in malls so I’ve been to a good number of B&BW’s. This store is smaller than the one in CC but it’s also less crowded so you have a better chance to shop. I’m not sure if it’s lack of staff, poor training or lack of expectations set by management but the employees don’t go out of their way to be particularly helpful (although there are exceptions); I’m lucky if I get handed a bag to put my stuff in. On the upside the store is clean and organized and I can get in and out without a lot of fuss. Go to CC for size and selection but go here if you don’t want to be elbowed by other shoppers and wait...
