Honestly I don’t post things online. I have been to this Supercuts before and had a totally normal experience. Tonight though I felt kind of off and I just felt the need to post. Maybe I’m making a big deal about it.
Long story short - I work a lot. Often 7 days per week, and often until 6 or 7 PM. Today I got out of work early and was able to rush home, change, and rush to Supercuts. I did not call to make an appointment because I have walked in before with no problem. I got there at 6:20 PM. When I walked in the woman there (only employee) asked if I had an appointment. I said I did not. She then stated that she was booked until the end of the day. Totally understandable. However, there wasn’t a soul in the store. I get it, thought - her next appointment was likely at 6:30 PM. I then tired to explain that I get a buzz cut and that it only takes about 5-7 minutes or so and that I was happy to tip well…but I wasn’t able to say a single word. Each time I tried to speak I was interrupted with phrases like “we don’t take walk-ins after 6:30 PM” (it was 6:20 PM) and that “she was booked” and that “there was nothing she could do”. Again, totally understandable. However, I would have liked to have been able to say something in return. I didn’t make a big deal about that though. I instead politely asked if I could wait until 6:30 PM to see if perhaps her scheduled appointment didn’t show up (I’m pretty desperate for a haircut at the moment lol) and then I could take the slot instead. She responded with, again, that she “didn’t take walk-ins after 6:30”. While I realized there was no logic in that argument at all (either way she would have ended up with an appointment at 6:30), I decided not to press the matter. She never made eye contact with me - she constantly looked at the computer or out the door. I politely tried to engage in conversation and just felt ignored and refused a buzz cut. In the end I guess she makes the final call. I just didn’t think Supercuts had a policy of refusing people haircuts or refusing walkins. Anyway, was just wondering if this has happened here a lot. I’m new...
Read moreI am very picky when it comes to who I let cut my hair. I was spoiled by my mom cutting my hair for the past 20 something years of my life. I look for a hairstylist that listens, that goes above and beyond when I forget a detail about something I like/want about my hair cut. Today I had the absolute pleasure of getting my hair cut by Niki. She honestly reminds me so much of my mom it was nice. She was communicating and telling me what she was doing so I’d remember next time I come in. Since I really do be forgetting a lot of the time. One thing that really stood out to me is I generally forget about the baby hairs on the front corner of my head when I get it cut, and she didn’t say anything to me about it just went along trimmed and cut them back with out me saying anything. I said thank you I usually forget those annoying little things. Hands down will continue to come to this location vs the location closer to my job, 1. It’s close to my home, and it was so clean, the vibe was immaculate and I had a...
Read moreLast time I was here 6 years ago, I had a terrible experience and vowed to never come back. But this week I desperately needed a quick, within budget cut and anywhere else is like $60+ just for a women's cut. The wash and cut here is $35. Patsy did my hair (and lip/eyebrow wax) and I have no complaints. It was everything i wanted, done perfectly, and also not too short (like you know how some hair dressers take off way more than you want when you say you just want a couple inches). She also consulted me about how to take care of my bleach damaged hair and recommended a hydrating conditioner and hair mask. I got to sample the conditioner during my wash and my hair already feels so much better. I didn’t have to ask her to fix or correct anything on the cut. It was perfect. The wax was fine too. No complaints. Patsy is also very friendly in a chill and funny way. I felt very...
