Vaux is the perfect space for any couple or family looking to have a memorable and intimate ceremony in Philadelphia; large enough to allow all the people close to you, while still holding onto that cozy feeling.

The owner, Monica, is always where you need her and never in the way. From our initial viewing of Vaux, until we walked out into the Philadelphia evening as a married couple, she helped us to make it everything that we had imagined. As a father of 3 young kids, time management is crucial. Monica understood the difficulties of our planning process and spent many late nights on the phone with us working through different aspects of our special day. While we had a few outside ideas of our own, the network of vendors she recommended was extensive and worked out wonderfully, with many having an understanding of the space and knowing what was needed before we even thought of it. Monica was accommodating of everything we asked and every last minute adjustment we requested. On a wintery Tuesday afternoon (most vendors questioned the dates, but yes Tuesday!) everything was spectacular.

A short story to try to encompass part of my experience: As the groom, I was tasked with getting all the flowers to Vaux while my bride was already there, in the bridal suite, getting ready. Guess what? I left the boutonnières in the fridge at home and had no time to go back. We were on a schedule, the photographer for ready for me, and it was time for our first look. Monica made me a boutonnière for the photos using materials she had on hand that ended up matching perfectly! The real one made it in time for the wedding but the homemade one was arguably better.

The little things you miss end up being huge and Monica saved the day with her quick thinking and experience. We now cherish these photos and that missing detail could’ve made all the difference.

Vaux Studio is AMAZING, from the whole experience of touring, planning and the actual day! Meghan gave us a great tour, Monica guided us through the planning process and was available anytime we needed. We had about a 10 week timeline and Monica ensured we understood everything we needed. She cares for everyone’s experience and was so accommodative for us! On the day of, Monica, her brother and Chantelle went above and beyond to ensure our day was special - I can’t thank everyone enough!!

My husband and I got ready together in the suite and Monica was so thoughtful to allow both our guests to be with us. Her and Chantelle steamed my dress, provided drinks/snacks for us, and helped in so many ways with day of coordination. Although things went off schedule and not as planned, she never made it feel like we were rushed and allowed us more time when we needed it. We could honestly go on and on but we highly recommend Vaux for an intimate wedding with an entire team who cares! We are still in awe with everything, and the place is even more...

Vaux is such a special place! Perfect for something nicer than a City Hall / courthouse wedding, without the chaos and stress of a larger venue or rented private room in a restaurant.

The space itself is stunning and filled with incredible natural light & thoughtfully curated decorations and furniture. Monica went above and beyond to accomodate our vision for the ceremony. She has created the perfect space to host an intimate wedding, romantic vow renewal, small shower or rehearsal.

Monica added expert suggestions on things like staging, flow, and the overall ceremony. Day of, she was a terrific makeshift organizer and family wrangler, making sure everyone was where they were supposed to be and happy.
