To whom it may concern This message should have been given last week when I was there along with the Dougherty Bridal Party. The only reason I didn't say something at that point was because I didn't want to cast any clouds on a beautiful day. Joey was my stylist. I had come in earlier in the week for a pre trial and did decide on what my hair was going to "kinda" look like on that coming weekend. I paid $40.00 for that visit with a $20.00 tip. I came in on Sat. morning 3/30/19. I had washed and blown out my hair before coming in that morning. Joey did proceed to start putting my hair in a twist. But when he started to do something with the top, it just wasn't going right and to my own fault, couldn't explain what it was I didn't like. He got upset with me. Instead of trying to use his skills and maybe a little imagination he proceeded to give me a few spirits of hair spray and told me I was done. I could tell he was very upset with me and wanted me out of HIS chair. I was very upset and embarrassed that he did this in front not only the Bridal Party but other costumers I did not know. He completely ruined my morning which should have been a fun carefree part of the whole day. I will never get to have this experience again. I did not allow the Bride to pay for my appointment which cost me $80.00 with a $10.00 tip. I don't expect anything to happen. You'll probably will read this message and think this is a rant by a crazy old lady. But, at least I got it off my chest. My satisfaction will be never to recommend your salon or your employees Joey to...
Read moreARROGANT COLOR-BLIND OWNER WITH ZERO TASTE OR SKILL BURNED MY HAIR First time my hair color came off dark and copper - not at all what I showed on the pictures of my previous hair dyes. Today I came for correction and left with fully white hair - it looks dreadful.
I think he destroyed my hair on purpose, fully aware of what he was doing… Otherwise, idk how one can look at the pictures I showed and just make hair abysmally uniformly white (which is not at all what was on those pictures - my profile picture was one of them, it’s brown hair with blonde highlights). I didn’t think a hair coloring this ugly can be achieved in 2025. I look like a teenager who’s just discovered bleach and really overdid it. And I really don’t know what to do now, since my beautiful hair has been ruined - I can’t dye it for the third time in a row, I can’t go out with this on my head, so, “thanks” so much, tasteless egomaniac with inferiority complex and a need to validate at the expense of others…
Update: the owner is now sending me messages threatening to sue me — simply for expressing my honest experience. I find this deeply unprofessional and intimidating. Consumers deserve to know what happened and should be free to share their experience without...
