ABSOLUTE CHAOS DEALING WITH THIS PLACE!!!
Here’s my latest experience with tombstone tactical. On 02/01 I ordered an aero precision stripped lower with all the necessities to complete it. It was a birthday present to myself. I chose the M4E1 lower because it was in stock at Phoenix ready for same-day pick up. A week went by so now it 02/07 and my buffer kit and lower parts kit arrived so I drove on down to tombstone tactical to pick them up as well as my lower. Once I got there, they went to the back and came out with just the buffer kit and lower parts kit. I asked where my lower was and they said they had to order it in and it will be there next week. No big deal, I’ll get it next week when my stock, drop in trigger and grip arrive. So now Tuesday 02/11 I Drive back over to Tombstone Tactical to pick up the rest of my lower build. Once again they go to the back and come out with everything but my lower. I asked what the deal with my lower is And they stated they had to order in because the ones they have in store are allotted to other orders (kind of shady advertising it as in-store same day pick up). He said they just checked with shipping and it will be at the store ready for pick up in two days. So now Thursday 02/13 I get an email (screenshot provided) stating my lower is out of stock with a few options on how to proceed. Which is weird because I was told it was in shipping and would be there on this day. I asked them to refund me since that is a very common, readily available lower (drove over to click click bang and got one within the hour). I received absolutely zero confirmation email with receipt or invoice for this refund to date of this review. So now, Friday 02/14 I get a call from a gentleman named Al from a 1-800 number stating he’s with tombstone tactical and because of the way I responded on my email, that they refunded my entire order (Including the parts I picked up over the past two weeks). He asked for me to call him back and pay $311. I called back the 1-800 number he called from and waited in queue for 15 minutes and then hung up. So now Saturday 01/15 I get another voicemail from the 1-800 number from Al stating and requesting the same thing as the previous day, just a little more rude than before. Once again, I waited in queue then hung up. I am now writing this review on 02/18 Because I just received another voicemail from a 1-800 number from a guy named Myron saying he is the GM of tombstone tactical and I need to drive over there and pay the $311 or they will call Surprise Police Department and Phoenix Police Department on me. This time he left an actual phone number to call back, which I have done twice and left a voicemail with no avail..
This is EXTREMELY shady business practices. It is 02/18 I have yet to receive a refund in my bank account for any among let alone my entire order amount. They even stated it would take 2 to 5 business days for it to process. Yet they find it acceptable to threaten me with the police if I don’t drive down there and pay them out of my pocket for their mistake? I am a more than decent human and fully intend to pay them back as soon as the money is refunded into my account. This is all comical that they hold my money for two weeks while giving me the runaround about the lower I paid for in full And then threaten me with the police within 1.5 business days (Presidents day was yesterday) of them claiming to accidentally refund me my entire order. What kind of firearms dealer is allowing their merchandise to leave their store without being accounted for? I will absolutely be letting everybody know in my gun club and at the 3 gun comps About this fiasco and will be recommending they do business elsewhere. I’m an AZ native and have been doing business with tombstone since they open their doors. Seems like the management has been going downhill since they moved into Souper Salad cursed building lol. Shameful they treat customers...
Read moreMy experience here has been such a toss up. The store has good prices and a wide variety of guns. Definitely lacking in the ammo department as far as diversity. I've asked several times for different ammo other than the usual, and am told "yeah we get asked alot for that, but we don't sell it." Why not? So now ill just go to another store if I need ammo since other places are more of a one stop shop. The guns are usually well priced. It's the employees that are a toss up. You'll either work with someone really nice and professional, or someone who is irritated by your presence. This makes shopping suck as the times I have been with the good employees, I've spent easily over 2k. With the bad ones, I'll just leave and go to other stores, which has been about 70% of the experience here.
Another issue I've had was trade in values. They will mention multiple times to their customers that they have the best deals around, but I went to see what I could get for a $300 Smith and Wesson handgun that has been barely been shot or worn down, and when given a price to buy it, they offered me $50... How does that price drop down by that much? I went to the case where they have pre-owned handguns and saw the same one. The pre-owned price was $200. So you're 4xing and that is fair? I went to Scheels and they offered me $125 for the gun. I also got the ammo they didn't have there too. The one stop shop aspect is a big factor. To add, I came in a while back and looked at their pre-owned rifles and shotgun section, and found a Springfield Armory AR-15 5.56 for $350. Had a scope and foregrip attachment. What a steal! I asked the guy what was wrong with it since the base gun alone is $1099. He said it wasn't even shot yet and they bought it from a guy who was grieving over his recently deceased friend since it brought back memories of him. I was blown away they gave the guy only $100, according to the samesman. How is that fair in the least for that guy? The attendant said he obviously wanted to get rid of the gun so he shot him a lowball offer and he took it. Blew my mind.
Today, I went into the store to buy some accessories and Tanarite, and the store was extremely understaffed. It took 15 minutes just to talk to someone, and they also didn't have any of the things I needed. I left again unhappy and decided to share my last experiences here.
The store overall has a nice setup. But unfortunately, with the employees mostly being rude or cold/irritated, and the inventory issues along with lowball offers on guns, I'll just have to drive the extra 20 minutes to go to Scheels or Bass Pro.
What is annoying as I read some of these reviews, the owner responds to bad reviews with "see you soon". How arrogant is that? If people are giving feedback, how does saying "nuh-uh" fix anything? It's such a shame. Also I read the owner responding saying "we can order ammo". Why would we want to do that rather than just you have it on the shelves? It's killing your business and people aren't obviously unhappy. Including...
Read moreThis BRAND NEW firearm is unsafe and a rusted , pitted , gouged , pile of pure garbage. I can Not believe Tombstone Tactical would sell this to anyone.
On August 7th 2023 I emailed Tombstone Tactical with complete details and 14 photos clearly showing the beyond horrible condition and issues.
The next day Malcolm from Tombstone Tactical replied to my email stating ,
“ Based on my knowledge, most Heritage firearms are released from the factory with that kind of quality. I have sent a return label to your FFL dealer for a return of the firearm. “
So Tombstone Tactical is fully aware that Heritage Firearms are piles of dangerous junk and yet sell them to their customers.
I worked 10 days straight and I work out of town. On my only day off I drove near two hours in the sweltering heat with no air conditioning to pick up the firearm.
I was absolutely shocked when I opened the factory packaging and saw the condition of the firearm. The employee there kindly told me to leave it there and not to accept the transfer as it would have been an even bigger hassle to return it if I did.
So I left the firearm there and drove near two hours back out of town as I had to work the next day.
Almost four hours of driving in my Jeep Wrangler that gets 8 miles per gallon when it could have been avoided if Tombstone Tactical did not knowingly on purpose sell me a complete dangerous garbage firearm.
It is now August 12th 2023 and I have called the Gun Store twice that the firearm is sitting at and they do Not have a return label for the firearm from Tombstone Tactical even though Malcolm stated on the 8th of August 2023 that he sent them a return label.
On August 10th 2023 I replied to Malcolm’s email from Tombstone Tactical stating that they do Not have a return label from them and that a manager needs to call me ASAP. I have Not received a phone call or a response from anyone at Tombstone Tactical about any of this and it is now August 12th 2023.
I also have contacted the manufacturer of the firearm that is Heritage Firearms on August 7th 2023 via a support ticket and have not received any response from them at all.
I highly advise everyone to Avoid Tombstone Tactical and Heritage Firearms at all cost.
I currently am out the cost of the firearm and $80 in fuel plus wasting my only day off work.
Nothing has been resolved and Tombstone Tactical offered no compensation nor have they even retrieved the dangerous firearm or refunded any of my money that they took from me for the purchase of it.
Absolutely zero remorse or genuine concern was shown by Tombstone Tactical or Heritage Firearms and I have explained all this and more in great detail to them and included 14 photos to them as well.
Please don’t get ripped off as I have been by Tombstone Tactical and Heritage Firearms. Avoid Both of them at All Costs.
I have included 9 photos in this review for everyone to see exactly what...
