If I can leave 0 stars I would! We came tonight around 8 o’clock. My boyfriend and I had a friend get together, that we haven’t seen in years. And we had Irene who was our waitress for the night, she was a small Chinese women. Very rude and pushy. Asked for water and unsweetened ice tea, ended up bringing sweet tea, told her I wanted unsweetened, when I got the unsweetened tea it was VERY deluted, she went and got different tea from the back of the restaurant and it tasted the exact same. So when I asked if I can get something else to drink she complied with irritation. This location closed at 10. We were having a good time talking and catching up. And adoring our friends 5 month old, as I am 34 weeks pregnant. Halfway throughout my meal I ended up becoming sick and ended up trying to eat some more as I threw up my entire meal. Was extremely uncomfortable as it seemed the AC didn’t even work. Food wasn’t even hot and tasted old. And when my boyfriend went over to the Hibachi Grill the cook was cross contaminated the raw meat and the seafood spatulas, he tried asking him a question and he just rudely said no over and over without letting him ask his question. My boyfriend accidentally spilled his drink and our waitress just looked over and completely ignored us, and another helpful gentleman waiter came over to assist us help. She also let us sit for 1 hour without refilling our drinks, every time we tried getting her attention she looked away, and when she got us our drinks she completely didn’t make sure who’s drinks were who’s. She ended up taking our plates, as I am allergic to mushrooms, I was done with my plate as I was sick and wanted to sit for a minute before trying to eat some more she asked me to keep my fork that was in the mushrooms that my boyfriend ate from, I was speechless. The waitress constantly annoyed us as she came over 10 different times to see if we had the check signed, we were still eating and told her we’d sign it after we were done. Then she stood beside our table waiting for us to finish dessert and rudely asked if we can hurry up and sign the paper so she can give it to her boss. We of course hurried up and signed it, still trying to finish our meal. At this time is about 9:30. She told us we needed to hurry and leave, and made us go through the emergency exit door. As we left. We ended up seeing her going out the front door leaving. This is the first time going to this restaurant, and I was VERY...

The lunch buffet was $8.99 and I regret every cent.
Shall I start with the... ambiance? The place appears to be the remnants of a fanciful, amazing buffet restaurant from the 1970's. Faded colors are splashed about the ceiling with dusty chandeliers spread around the dining areas. Though dim, the lighting appears to have once been wonderful. Now, the benches are all broken, worn out, and torn. The lights are dim and appear to be barely working. Plug-in electric fans straight from the drugstore line the walls, eerily telling you how miserable this place must be in the summer months. There is a... pond?... at the front of the place. It seems to border on the line of unsanitary to pumped full of chemicals. Quite the addition.
As for the food, in sum it was bad. Takeout from Panda Express seems like a 3 star Michelin dining experience compared to this. Everything was old, hard, chewy, or bland. I picked my way through the buffet making choices by what would make me the least ill. As for the seafood area, lets just say I couldn't even walk near it because of the powerful "fragrance." Once I saw the hibachi grill the thought crossed my mind that freshly cooked food must be better than these options.
Nope. There were pre-cooked eggs just sitting there on the counter. They were there 20 minutes later when I walked by again. No heat lamp. No cover. Just sitting there. As for the "meat" and other items to put in stir fry, the vegetables were wilted and limp. The beef was turning brown from old age. It was worse than the cooked buffet items.
I felt obligated to eat there since I already went in and the place was deserted. I also had to get back to my office for a meeting in a hurry so it was this or Burger King.
I wish I just...
Read moreSooo.... First time being here and the experience was not so great. We arrived at 9pm one hour before their closing time... Mistake, food had been there for idk how long at least they made it all look presentable and placed in new pans. They did make new food that we were going to eat such as orange chicken, so that's a plus. BUT..... The orange chicken was not good, it tasted old with new hot sauce added to it. That's my opinion on the flavor of it. On to the next big no no... They started cleaning up getting ready to close at about 9:35!! No joke! They closed the station where you "create" your own dish idk what it's called. But honestly that was pretty rude they weren't being discreet about it either it was loud! I've worked in restaurants before and never we're we that loud when it came to closing time.. I'm talking loud banging, vacuming the floor and the server only coming around when I made it super obvious that we needed refill on our drinks or plates removed. Mopping the floors and no wet sign on the floor.... Overall im sure that in the day time their a decent place with constantly hot and fresh food available. And probably friendlier staff members. However I won't be returning...
