I have to say that I went there for Fourth of July weekend and it was absolutely smooth and beautiful. There is a homeless problem a lot of trash towards the entrance which kind of takes away from the park. Overall my kids loved going on the playground they had a blast. It’s a really good park I’m definitely going back. I will post more pictures when I go back.

My daughter found a pill there and put it in her mouth. Idk what it was I got it out before she swallowed it. I'm taking her to the e.r. now to make sure it's nothing that will hurt her. I don't advice anyone with small kids to take them there. Highly dangerous!!! Rarely cleaned!!!

True the park looks nice and clean. Beware though as on any given day the picnic pavilion is a place where homeless regulars hang out. There are covered benches on the Van Buren side that act as homeless day beds. In the past I've witnessed illegal drug activity in and around the park.

After hours I've noticed suspicious vehicles parked in the small lot...obviously doing illegal activities. I've found used syringes and those little jewelry baggies used to hold heroin and meth occasionally as well.

So I'd not want my kids around that park unsupervised by a...

My family and I just relocated to the Phoenix area and took my children to this park just to scope it out, so to speak. Overall, it seems to be a pretty clean park, it does have bathrooms, some basketball courts and a play area and open field where people can have fun, but it does seem as though the neighborhood gets a bit rough at night, and there's not an immensely large variety of toys for younger children to play on. Overall, we...

Dry, …grass less.. hardly any tree shade. We had to leave because of homeless taking naps. Nothing against them and they’re probably harmless, but when you have children you just have to be careful. It’s probably better when more kids are there judging by photos like on a weekend morning but I don’t know as we were just passing through looking for a place for the...
