VISTORS BE AWARE! Go somewhere else! I feel like this place is taking advantage of first time customers. I visited this place because of great reviews and unfortunately the whole experience was awful.
The combo price is a joke. When I saw a taco price of 3.25, I asked if the combo price is a better deal, the counter guy told me yes. I didn't do the calculation since people behind were waiting. Later I sat down and did the calculation. A combo of 4 tacos and a drink is $16.90. Since 4 tacos are $13, they are charging $3.90 for a fountain drink. Really? I asked the counter guy later, and ask if I can get Jamaica, and was told I gave to pay extra. Okay so either this place try to charge $3.90 for a fountain drink, or I am simply paying more for a combo price.
I like to have some guac on my tacos so look through the menu. I could only find Guac and Chips, so I asked how much is it for just guac. He replied that just ordering guac will be the same as guac and chips. I didn't want the chips but I had no other options, so I paid $3.99 for guac and chips. I received a bag of chips and an empty container. It turns out that guac is FREE. Why would he charged me $3.99 then if he knew I simply want only guac? I went back to the counter later asked for a refund, and was told by the manager that since I took the chips, they would not refund me. They really are trying to cheat customers to pay for something that is offered for free. No apologies, no refund, just excuse and telling me that the guy misunderstood.
Food wise, I got 4 streets tacos with no flavours, no cheese, just plain tortilla and meat. The salsa is just okay and nothing special. I need to add a bunch of salsa and guac to my taco because it is so blend and boring. I tried steak, chicken, cactus, and pastor. None of them are good. Super disappointed.
I travel all around the world and live in LA, while I don't expect finding perfect tacos in Phoenix, I never thought of having something worst...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have to give them a 1 overall because I came for the food to go not the environment. The girl up front was super sweet and the girl that handed us the food was also very sweet. We ordered a family meal to go it comes with 10 tacos and two quesadillas and beans and a couple drinks and some containers for salsa. We ordered 5 carne asada 5 al pastor and switched the beans for rice. It was Sunday 07/13/2025 at 1:53pm is when I placed my order (I checked my phone because I noticed you guys have been trying to blame the customers which had I noticed before I most likely would not have come thatās super sad you choose to not improve but blame shift) I have no reason to lie Iām just a regular person who loves tacos. Iāve eaten at another tacos calafia on the north side and it was so good, I was super excited that they opened in the old brewery itās a beautiful location. Hereās where it went bad⦠the rice was hard and bland and honestly the nastiest rice I have ever eaten anywhere. The chips were hard and stale maybe donāt put them in those paper bags is my suggestion. I was so mad I ordered an extra bag for $4 š„¹ the green sauce and guacamole were so bland and the guacamole was brown and the green sauce was so watery we couldnāt even it eat which didnāt matter because the chips were too hard and stale to even eat. The tacos were dry and also bland the only difference between the pastor and asada was that one was kind of orange besides that they were both bland and dry and you could hardly tell the difference which is crazy for pastor. The quesadillas and the red sauce were the only things edible and they werenāt anything special š³ we paid $65 for food we could not eat š„¹ I wanted this to hit sooo much. Go to Taco Boyz across the street this isnāt worth your money and based on the responses to customers they donāt value business. I honestly feel...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAmazing tacos. If you haven't tried these or Taco Boys across the street (both are amazing taco options), then you are missing out, and in my opinion, won't have a strong argument (with me, at least) for actual GOOD tacos in the Phoenix metro area.
The asada tacos are hands down my favorite. The salsas are SPICY but really delicious. Yes, even the mild is spicy, and I never go for mild salsa anywhere I go. Make sure you taste each of them before slathering your taco in a potential volcano sauce. And, a pro tip. If you like grilled onions and/or grilled jalapeƱos, they do offer them (they are very nicely carmelized) for those of you who love a little grilled onion action with your tacos.
They also have MICHELADAS (aka Chabelas where I'm from) in a huge cup. Its worth coming here for just that if you are craving one, definitely top tier miche-belas.
They also do "family packs", and were very flexible with making a catering package for our party! 8 pounds of protein (you choose what you want), half and half flour/corn tortillas, plenty of Guacamole, salsas, radishes, limes, and diced up onion and cilantro, plus they even sold us several large cups of frijoles preparados (prepared beans) which is their beans with a protein and cheese. We came in earlier in the week to put in the order, they gave us a time on the day we requested to come pick it up, and on the day of, they gave me all of my 8 pound order in a nice and neat aluminum tray setup, along with with cups of beans (in a cup holder) and to-go boxes and containers for the salsa and condiments!
This is an absolute heavy-hitter in the taco market, and should be a top option for any...
