Plantation Crossing is a fairly large, sprawling shopping strip. It has adequate parking, but near the larger, more popular venues, you may have to walk a little. There is a popular restraunt on the Flamingo/Sunrise corner. This is followed by two, large, vacant stores. Then there is Michaels, always a fun place to shop, with a large selection of craft, scrapbook, and artificial flower supplies. This is followed by Aldis. If you aren't familiar with them, you should be. If I said it is a generic grocery store, I would be putting them down. The only thing generic is their prices. I get ALL of my produce there, not because of the low price, but because they have an excellent selection and it is simply the best. I also have fallen in love with their brand of granola cereal. Their bakery products are fresh and good. They have a good selection of frozen food, often having unusual sections. Simply stated, they have what the average grocery has, just in the brands they carry. The only thing that they don't have a big selection of is meats. What they carry, however, is good. I must admit it's their center isle that I loose it. The products there change by week. I've gotten everything from a Futon couch, to patio umbrella, to pet supplies. Every week is different and you can't beat the prices. Be sure to take your own bags, but if you forget you can purchase them. You also need a quarter to rent a cart. When you bring the cart back, you get your quarter back. Hence, no carts in the parking lot to scratch your car. Going down the strip, there is a Pier 1, a few1. smaller stores, and a Denny's. The Denny's is the only part that I would rate 1* or less. The last time I went there, it was so bad, I...

We spent 20 minutes for our order to be taken, and 45 minutes waiting until I asked another lady about it, just to be mentioned it would take at least 30 minutes more. We decided to leave the premise and cancel the order. It is a shame because this used to be such a pleasant...
