UPDATE: I was really impressed by the quick response and resolution to my issues. Diana, the owner was so kind when she called and talked with me about my experience. She made sure that I am able to get my nails fixed and apologized for the long waits. Great customer service like that goes a long way to making up for the bad experience. For her attentiveness alone, I am happy to return and give them another try.
I was originally hesitant to leave a review but I am so disappointed with my luminary nails I got done here. I wanted to find a new salon closer to home so this was my first time here. My appointment started almost 40 mins late. The actual manicure took SO long, about 2 1/2 hours meaning I was at the salon for 3 hours in total. I did get some art but it was very simple and I have never had nails take this long. I do understand appointments run late sometimes so I still wasn’t going to leave this review because they did turn out cute after all that. However, I have only had these nails for one week and already 2 nails have chipped and the top coat is wearing off on multiple nails. I have gotten luminary nails multiple times now and I have never had them chip like this! In fact usually they’ve lasted 3+ weeks with no issue. Everyone here was nice and friendly but with the time wasted waiting, plus the chipping so quickly this service was very disappointing and was not worth my...
Read moreEdit: The tech who did my nails was still great. However, less than three hours after I got my nails done I had three of them pop directly off. I had gel done and I was just changing my clothes when I noticed the color gone. I wish I could say I was doing something crazy to cause the damage, but this is not the case.It seems as though the gel quality was really poor because I’ve never had this happen before. Not sure if it was due to my nail tech not putting on a base coat. I sent a message to the salon that night, but it’s now been two weeks and I haven’t heard back: no call or email and I left my contact for both. I got these nails done for my mom’s wedding and left the next day at 3 AM and so I wasn’t able to go to the salon to get them redone. I typically love to give opportunities to make things right, and I told them this in my message to the salon. At the end of the day, it was $35 and I was out of town for a week after I got them done. I still would’ve loved a message from them or any sort of solution they could offer me.
Jade was great! She was very meticulous and asked what I thought consistently through doing my nails. Made me feel like I could say something if I didn’t like what she did :) it’s a smaller salon than I thought so really quiet and relaxing. She also mixed color for me to get exactly what I...
Read moreI’m not one to write much reviews but my experience was traumatic. I went in as a walk in originally after I had looked at their menu and services online. I went in with my 1 1/2 year old and asked if I had to make an appointment. So fine, I did. Later that same day I came back for my appointment, with my baby once again. I sat down in the pedicure chair and got as far as soaking my feet and Gabriella took the Polish off my toes. The front desk girl came up to me and said she called her manager and kids weren’t allowed in the spa. (I was the only one getting a pedicure). Gabriela told me she couldn’t do my nails because she only has 3 tools and I had an ingrown nails so I asked her if I should just go and she said yes. So I left and told the desk girl I was just going to leave and no services were done. As I was about to drive away she says, the manager is on the phone and wants me to pay a no show fee. I told her, it wasn’t fair since no one told me about the no kid rule, the nail tech couldn’t do her job and I showed up for my appointment. I had never felt so upset at a nail salon or spa. I’m from out of state and I was very upset by the service I received or...
