Nelson beach splash pad is awesome. My 4 year old grandson made friends quickly and loved trying to stop the water from splashing up.

This is an outdoor area with spray jets. It's designed for young children. There is also a playground. The snack bar and restrooms are only open in the summer. It's located in Nelson Memorial Park and Nelson Beach. Parking is free, but limited. The Grace Walking Trail also starts here. The views of Plymouth Bay are excellent. The day we went, it wasn't overly crowded. The bay offered pleasant vistas. Kids will enjoy the Splash Pad and the nearby playground. Several benches are present, though bringing your own beach chairs might provide...
