If you’re looking for a spot that delivers not just on flavor but on an unforgettable experience, look no further than this place! First up, the Nut Job was a delightful creation and the toasted coconut flakes added just the right crunch. Each bite feels like a mini vacation to paradise!

Pair the toast with the amazing ADULT iced coffee—it’s the perfect way to kickstart your day with a delightful buzz! The rich flavor of coffee blended with just the right amount of boozy goodness makes it hard to stop at just one cup. Don’t miss out on the Almond Joy smoothie, either genuinely tasting like the beloved candy bar. It’s a delightful treat and a healthy option to boot!

When lunchtime rolls around, the smash burger is a revelation! Juicy, perfectly cooked, and topped with a secret sauce that’s simply divine. The balance of flavors is on point, making it one of the best burgers in the area. Each bite is insane and the secret sauce adds that irresistible flavor blast that keeps you coming back for more!

Last but certainly not least, their acai bowls are top-notch, arguably the best bowls from Timbuktu to Portland Maine! Or Portland Oregon for that matter… Fresh, vibrant, and topped with just the right amount of goodies, they are a hearty and refreshing way to start your day.

To top it all off, the service is impeccable. The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, ensuring a fantastic dining experience from start to finish.

Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit…10/10!!! Can’t wait...

I have been eating delicious and healthy breakfasts at “Local Roots” with my kids and family for about three years now, so this is long overdue. There are a lot of breakfast places in the area, but this one gets it! Set across from East Bay Grill on Plymouth Bay, it has beautiful views of the area and an ocean breeze that’s welcoming. The food?! Their food is DELICIOUS! And there is a healthy menu variety to choose from. And the name says it all - they promote local businesses by getting their food locally, so it’s always fresh! The owners, Scott and Tina, are very kind and attentive to the needs of this beautiful breakfast place and its patrons, and they are here often working close with the other employees who all seem to enjoy what they do. Check it out- you will not be...

While visiting Plymouth, we were looking for a healthier choice for lunch, and chose this location due to reviews. You order at the counter, they give you a rock with a number and bring you your food. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Lavash Wrap (onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, avocado, lettuce, humus and garlic Aioli) $17, and my wife ordered the Local Roots Cobb (grilled chicken, egg wedges, sliced avocado and crisp bacon) $18. The food and service was good, my only complaint was that I didn’t see a lot of chicken in my wrap, to the point that I couldn’t tell if it was actually in there. In addition, my wife said that she thought it was odd that they didn’t have vinaigrette dressing option. I would return if in...

Great spot for people watching, and this morning they had live music so it was nice to sit and enjoy that while eating. The food was forgettable taste wise, but definitely not price wise. $15 for a bacon/egg/cheese, and can of soda. I had to ask the cashier (who wasn’t the friendliest to begin with) if that was correct twice because I couldn’t t believe it. Their bowls and juices are good and priced as expected, but a sandwich for $10ish could at least include some home fries.

If you’re looking for a place to take children or even the dog on the front patio, this is a great breakfast - lunch healthy and delicious option we would highly recommend. Even our eight and four-year-old agreed best breakfast ever they cleaned their plates and asked for more!!The service was quick andeasy accommodating. Everything tasted homegrown and prices were very reasonable. Also a great place to walk from Nelson Park Beach. We will definitely be back again soon.
