Enjoyable Experience at Regal Cinemas with Some Cost Concerns
I recently visited Regal Cinemas with my family, including my spouse, our toddler, and myself to watch Element. Overall, we had a great time at this location, appreciating the atmosphere, cleanliness, and movie selection. However, we couldn't overlook the steep prices of snacks and drinks, which significantly impacted the overall cost of our visit. Let's start with the positives. The location of Regal Cinemas was convenient for us, and we found the theater to be well-maintained and clean. The seating was comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The ambiance was enjoyable, creating a pleasant movie-watching experience for our family. Regarding the movies, we were pleased with the wide range of options available. Regal Cinemas consistently features a diverse selection of films, catering to various interests and age groups. We were able to find a movie that suited all our preferences, ensuring a satisfying cinematic experience for everyone in our family. However, our main concern revolves around the prices of snacks and drinks offered at Regal Cinemas. We found them to be excessively expensive, which significantly inflated our overall expenses. While we understand that movie theaters rely on concession sales to generate revenue, the prices seemed disproportionately high. It would have been more reasonable to offer more affordable options for families, especially those with young children. During our visit, the cost of snacks and drinks for two adults and a toddler amounted to around $80. Although we cannot provide the exact details of what we purchased since we lost the receipt, we plan to post a more accurate review in the future, comparing the prices of similar snacks on our next visit.
In my business experience, lowering the prices of concessions would not only attract families but also make the overall movie experience more accessible to a wider range of moviegoers. It would create a more inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy the full experience without feeling financially burdened. Additionally, affordable snacks and drinks would likely lead to increased sales, compensating for the lower prices through higher volume. Despite the concerns about pricing, our overall experience at Regal Cinemas was positive. We appreciated the location, the cleanliness, and the wide variety of movies available. We hope that Regal Cinemas will consider adjusting their snack and drink prices to make it more affordable for families, ensuring that everyone can enjoy their movie experience without breaking the bank.
We look forward to our next visit to Regal Cinemas and hope to see improvements in...
Read moreHorrible experience. The movie was great. Let me share my experience. I had purchased two large drinks. A large soda for myself and a large blueberry Icy for my son and a bag of candy. We went and saw the movie. After the movie was over my son asked if he could have a refill. I said yes. So he went up to the counter to get one. The guy brought back the cup and it was full of the drink. I asked him to get me a new one because this one was so dirty. This is the problem. He took the cup into the back where no body could see him, So did he wash it and then spit in it. Do nothing to it. That's the million dollar question.
So a couple of hours later I decided to call this movie theater and make a complaint. I finally reach the movie theater and talk to someone. I asked to speak to a manager. I explained what happened and he said that a co-worker had said that he went to the back to wash the cup out. That's kinda funny when I never heard him ask anyone anything or put me on hold. More than likely I was talking to the person on the phone that filled this cup
If I cold give 0 stars I would but you have to choose at least one to proceed forward.
The worst part about it is I am almost 100 percent certain that when I contacted the manager on the phone it was the same person trying to cover it up. This is what pisses me off the most. I plan to share my story with as many...
Read moreSeat upholstery is very old and in need of updating. Padding is flat. Seats do not lean back. Arm rests are worn to the point of the upper fabric ripping and revealing the stuffing underneath. Everything feels slightly dirty. Went to see a movie Saturday just after noon--very early, and rarely busy for any theater. It was my wife and I and another couple in the theater. Should be easy to get prime seats, yes?
The entire middle section of the small theater was taken up for two wheel chair seats. Literally a section of 3 rows by 5 columns of the best seats in the house with two silver metal wheelchair w/ handrail slots. The silver metal of course reflected light, so they were visible to all seats (including us) rear of the prime section during any scene with moderate or higher illumination.
These seats of course were empty.
Two stars because the sound and video quality had no major flaws like crackling or noise.
Final note: I'm not against handicap seating, nor handicap seating being good seating. But in this small theater, literally all of the seats in the prime middle + center area were occupied with two handicap slots. In addition to the seats being very poor, can't rate this well.
Edit: Upon reading my own words, lowered review from...
