I have frequented Natural Wonders quite a bit over the years and, while I've never had any complaints about the customer service, I've now purchased two top shelf ounces from them over the last several months and absolutely nothing was fresh. Each genetic smelled dull, monotone and aged. I even found jar rot on one of the strains so I just had to throw it all away. When I found the jar rot, I called the dispensary and spoke to a manager who told me that I was wrong, it wasn't jar rot, it was just from the flower being over cured. As a professional grower on the recreational market, I can identify jar rot very easily. Honestly, you can smell it without even looking so I'm very surprised that batch was even put on the shelves to begin with. Even if it wasn't jar rot and was, as the manager said, just an over cured flower, then why are you selling it for $17/g? Overall, it just seems like a waste of money to shop here when I can get the fresh batches of things at other shops around town. $17/g for something that is six months old is unacceptable and I would be embarrassed to sell that to my customers. Don't even get me started on how they sell outdoor and greenhouse grows for $12 and $14/g... I can get fresh Evans Creek for $15/g, why would I buy outdoor or greenhouse for an equivalent price? Management needs to seriously wake up to the fact that they're really taking advantage of their customer base. Shop somewhere else that actually appreciates you. Like...
Read moreEveryone who works here is miserable. The location and the shop is beautiful but the people who work there really bring the vibe of the atmosphere down. I have gone here on three or four occasions. I prefer canna tbf. I have left disappointed every single time. I didn't feel welcome or comfortable. Nobody has ever really been helpful here. Always just trying to rush us out the door. They're also not very knowledgeable about their products. We like our sativa leaning ganja. And your selection isn't to our satisfaction. Also our last bach was old and brown and was it was harvested in October of last year. We do however like your dab and edible selection. Also the plants in the shop are beautiful. Wish the service was better. I have given you all severl chances and I think thst was the last time. Canna has good music and really friendly people. They treat us like family. My partner and I live and work in the...
Read moreHell’s OG (29.97%THC, 2.29% CBD) • During my 11-mile wander from Goose Hollow to East Portland on Sunday, August 21, I stopped by Natural Wonders, a great neighborhood cannabis shop. During my conversation with the wonderful budtender Namatin, I noticed a new flower (at least new to me) and decided to try it. Hell’s OG was grown by Deschutes Growery and is reported to be a cross between Lucifer OG (by way of Hell’s Angel OG) and The White. • There is very little odor from these compact, tightly bundled nuggets. The heavy indica smoke slows my body down almost immediately, with a two-hit buzz lasting well into the second hour. For the evening, a bowl of Hell’s OG convinced my mind and body that it is time sleep. This is, indeed, one of the more powerful Indica strains I have ever tried. Thank you Namatin for suggesting...
