A great experience once again at One Longfellow. Robyn has been a great influence on the music scene for over 40 years. The fact that he could be here in our small town in such an intimate room was remarkable. The fog of emotional ambiguity that hangs over his deeply poetic lyrics was partially lifted by the banter of his "transparent mind" between songs. Read moreWhat a lovely little venue! I saw a wonderful show, it was a great environment and an intimate setting. I loved everything about it except, like much of Portland, parking can be a bit of an issue. Leave extra time to find a parking spot. And hope that it hasn't snowed recently, LOL. I drove around a bunch of side streets, couldn't find a spot and ended up in a parking garage that was about a five-minute block from the venue. So the lack of a fifth star is really more about me having to walk several blocks when it was a little bit slippery on the sidewalks and also having to pay twenty bucks to park. The venue...

I was a little intimidated since I was going by myself but there were greeters armed with big welcoming smiles who were more than happy to orient me to the bathrooms, the bar, the stairway to the balcony, etc. Etc. It soon became apparent to me that this is a venue welcoming to all people and all ages who enjoy music. I am anxious to go back And will definitely make this one of my new go-to spots...
