I booked Room 6. It was around $500 a night and the photos and reviews were amazing. I was so excited. I got to my room and it had 1 tiny window with an AC unit covering the bottom of it. It felt like a cave. I started having anxiety immediately.
The door lock did not work. The dead bolt was not lined up properly so you could not lock it. You could lock the door knob but not the dead bolt
The Inn is old and creaky and smells a bit musty. I ended up leaving and going to the swanky Autograph Marriott in a much better area for a comparable price.
West End charged me for all three nights. I was in the Inn for about 15 minutes. They were well within their rights to keep my money according to the cancellation policy and I am well within my rights to leave a review so here we are.

Read moreI love this place! It's in a cute, quiet neighborhood within walking distance of a variety of restaurants, the State Theatre, and it's a doable walk down to Old Port. |The building is safe. The rooms are clean and have the modern necessities while maintaining the integrity of the original architecture and overall vibe of the home. There's some creaking of floorboards due to being a cool old building, but it's overall very quiet and cozy. |The breakfast is unmatched and the staff are genuinely kind. Not that forced niceness you find, but they actually care and will do what they can to help make your stay as amazing as possible.|I don't make bed and breakfast kind of money but I take one vacation a year and refuse to stay anywhere else. It makes me feel fancy and it's worth the investment. (Which when you factor in the $$ you'd spend on buying breakfast and paying for Lyft, it's actually one...
Read moreBeautiful B&B located in lovely residential area. We were greeted by Diane, who explained how seriously the inn was taking the current COVID situation and reviewed their stringent housekeeping policies. Happy she also took our temperature & asked about our exposure history. The Inn is immaculate; loved the understated elegant decor that combined modern touches while maintaining the historical ambiance. Our room was large, comfortable and quiet. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. We really enjoyed the “vending machine-style” wine bar, which served a choice of wines in a variety of sizes (including tastings!). Breakfast was outstanding and served in the elegant, sunlit front room. Tables allowed for social distancing with an option to eat comfortably in your room. We loved our stay and would...
