I think giving two stars is more then generous under the circumstances. Wow were do I begin? First and foremost I love Starbucks as an corporation and your product is delicious! I have no ill feelings or hostility towards Safeway either, just this particular location Starbucks kiosk seems to be struggling. I have recently moved to this area and it is the closet location before work, so you all know what that means! My go 2! Unfortunately I have bared through it ā lack of better wordsā. Gosh there is just so much to touch and not enough space to do so. My biggest disappointment is the typical wait time for a coffee is anywhere from 10-28 minutes on an average day, with or without a line. Iād consider myself a regular and I may be assuming Iām entitled but you would think theyād see me and say hey letās get her drink going as thatās typically what I have experienced in multiple other locations. I use to tip at least 2/3.00 now I donāt at all because of the dissatisfaction. Recently I noticed I had been charged twice a few times and upon my discovery of it. Iād ask the manager to address the issue with her staff and her response was ā I trained everyone my self and they are all certified baristasā. Then she told me to walk over to customer service and take it up with them. My response was wow, in my head. Maybe a Sorry, we will look into it and make it right , or hey Iām really sorry thatās going on letās see what we can do to make it right for you. Instead with a very snarf condescending attitude she said ā what would you like me to do, have I not ā taken care of youā she was referring to giving me two free drinks in which was her way of saying they have already way over compensated me. My first thought š was is she serious right now. In the last 3 months I have spent 576.29 on Starbucks and thatās is just according to my debit card. I replied with you gave me two free drinks in which I was owed because I purchased two reusable cups and regardless of the price it is Starbucks policy. Not to mention countless times, I mean countless times I have purchased pastries and they have given me the wrong one or heated then up when I told them no several times. Actually come to think of it this day in particular I asked for a seasonal āļø cookie and was given a warm chocolate chip cookie instead. I had to reenter the store after being accused of lying and get the correct one; granted she told me too keep it but my response was ā Iād rather not and have your manger throw in my face she gave me a free cookie... Anywho the list goes on and on of lack of inconsistency, horrible customer service and unfriendly- unwelcoming demeanors and, multiple mistakes but the last straw for me was recently when they started keeping my receipts after my orders. It just baffles me that they would be that awful and accusatorial towards me. I donāt think it is unfair to ask to pay for only what Iām receiving and be waited on in a timely manor. I have witnessed the manger just standing talking while her employees have lines and people who are clearly dissatisfied yet she continues to act as if she is busy standing there. They make one drink at a time I was told it is the Starbucks modo one customer one transaction per service? I would understand that if it was properly staffed but 9 out of 10 times they have 1-2 people working. So you all can be the judge of it? Am I being unreasonable...

Mari, the store manager, decided to be indignant about promo signage (the didnāt have an end date posted) SHE and the staff who worked the previous days forget to remove. Instead of honoring the promo then removing it she refused. Her refusal honoring her mistake cause me to ask & wait for management. Cassandra another manager did a wonder job by honoring the promo and agreeing that it should have been done immediately. Mariās tone during my interaction was extremely rude and dismissive. I had to ask her not to continue to speak to me whilst I waited for Cassandra. Mari wanted to debate and I wasnāt granting her that energy. Especially not at 7am. My wait to speak Cassandra caused me to miss my bus to work. Mari, do a better job of prepping before opening, you may find things like old marketing. I have over the last several years become a fan of slipping into a friendly Starbucks putting in my order getting a smile and good wishes for the day along with my order; and stepping out into the world. However this Starbucks which is in fact inside the Safeway and that I have been to several times, has the least friendly and most sullen and silent employee working the counter that I have ever personally met.
