The Portland Crystal Company — Attraction in Portland

I went in for the first time recently. I was pleased with the variety and the prices weren't bad. However, I was really disappointed with how little care the owner seemed to take for the health of the community during a pandemic. She wore a mask if she was going to be within 6 feet of someone, only after I spoke up and asked why she wasn't wearing one, but before I said anything was coming out into the store and interacting with no mask. When she was in the back, (which is actually just behind a book shelf, still very much the same air all customers are breathing) she takes her mask off and breathes heavily as she sweeps. She spoke clearly that the only reason she is wearing one is because of the mask mandate.

I am looking for a different crystal shop to support now instead, and do not plan to go back because of how the owner was talking about mask wearing as a burden to her, instead of as an easy thing to do to keep everyone safe. If you MUST go, be safe and wear your respirator, but pdx has got to have better places to support than folks that are practically anti maskers. Its a shame because the other human working at the register was kind and helpful, and also seemed uncomfortable with the owners...

Let me tell you about a hidden treasure I discovered in the halls of businesses tucked away next to the waterfront in St. Johns. Pisces Crystal Trading Co. is a locally owned Crystal warehouse and showroom that will wow you with every stone. Even though the enigmatic name and the fascinating maze of passageways that their signs led me through had me going "hmmm...", once I rounded the final corner and caught a glimpse of the massive size and scope of this little Crystal Trading Mecca of Portland,, i realized in short order that there's nothing fishy about Pisces. This shop totally Rocks hard from wall to wall with crystals both treated and in their natural state that are so scintillating that "eye candy" doesn't do their description justice.. Eye would rather call it "Eyece Cream and Cake"! Now I buy from Pisces regularly and Mia and Mike always make sure I walk out knowing all about the properties of the stones I've bought, so every trip to Pisces is a learning experience as well as a...

The first time I visited, I expected it to be like the other crystal & geode shops I’ve shopped at. But I couldn’t have been more wrong! This is a warehouse chocked full of crystals, geodes, & many, many more beautiful & interesting items. The variety is amazing, & the prices are better than the other places I’ve been to. I was able to shop without being pestered by a sales person, but when I had a question, someone was always there to help me. I learned that the owner has been in this business for many years, & it certainly shows in the selection of items. Now I only shop here since I saw how much I was missing elsewhere.
