City Dragon Chinese Food — Restaurant in Poway

Rolled the dice tonight and ended up with City Dragon, this little hidden Gem has been feeding the City of Poway for more than 18 years. There was no one in the restaurant when we came in tonight but it was only 8:05pm so we had about 45 minutes to stuff our face before we had to leave to make our movie. Menu super simple and easy to understand (see picture) the couple here took our order for 4 people and had the food all out in under 8-10 minutes. We purchased Broccoli and Beef, Orange Chicken, Miso Soup, Egg Flower (similar to Egg Drop) and some chicken fried rice. I brought my 3 toughest food critics with me tonight, and all three gave the thumbs up approval tonight. We will definitely be bringing mom back here, all the food tasted great, warning soup comes out HOT, buyer beware. Wow. Just wow. So, to be fairly honest, I only stopped here because it was close and I was extremely hungry. So I stopped in thinking I'd grab some orange chicken and leave. But, when I walked in the door, it just felt so nice and cozy that I figured, what the heck, I'll eat here. To be fair, I was a little put off by the prices, but it was well worth it. The wife brought the food to my table, with Sriracha for the soup and soy sauce for the rice, and everything was prepared to perfection. The sauce on the chicken was perfect, the chicken had a great crunch and was nice and juicy on the inside, the rice was steamed to a beautiful fluffy texture, and the soup paired perfectly with the egg roll and wonton. This was my first and last time at this restaurant. I ordered a broccoli beef , sweet and sour chicken, chicken lo mein and a beef fried rice and was beyond disappointed with the taste of everything. The beef didn't resemble any.beef I've eaten before and the taste was awful. I've never thrown away $70 worth of food before until now even though money is tight :(

I let them know I wanted to bring food back and he said I don't care been open for 30 years no refunds.

I've worked in kitchens and cooked all types of meat but never seen something of this low of quality before being sold in a restaurant then they want 17.99 per beef dish.

At least order some chuck roast to replace whatever this is, my 70 year old mother tasted it and said...
