Tequila Mexican Restaurant Hiram — Restaurant in Hiram

I’ve been coming to Tequila in Hiram for years. I started coming after my husband died., because it was close to my home and the margaritas were cheap but good!! normally sit in the bar area and play music. While coming here I was able to connect with folks who were so kind and somewhat of a support system . However, they have hired a new staff. One of the staff , particularly is young and soooo F’n rude!! Like really rude!!

One day I was there, and asked for a margarita. She gave it to me right away. But when I was ready to make a food order, she went ghost for about 20mins. When she finally came back to me, I wasn’t nasty, I wasn’t rude, I didn’t raise my voice. I actually whispered to her that it wasn’t good customer service to have me waiting for 20mins +. I also gave her some advice discreetly. I shared with her that I to work in customer service and I said to her that I understand that she has to juggle between tables and me! But I explained to her that was fine and that I understood, all I asked was for her to just peep into the bar just to say quickly are you ok. She took offense to what I said and spoke about it to other servers which she exaggerated the truth!! She put me in a a position that I had to explain to other staff what happened. Since then she makes me uncomfortable when I come here and I’ve patronize this business for years.

Since then she never serves me, she is so rude at this point that she won’t even greet me. I could be the only one in the bar and she would behave as if I wasn’t there. Her name is Adela. I may be spelling it wrong. I NEVER do reviews, but tired of keeping quiet.

On a good note, outside of her the staff rocks. The manager Raul is awesome, Saul, Stephanie and especially Jose are the bomb and they always take...

Please Read: I wish I would have read some of the reviews before coming to this place However the service was terrible im sure this restaurant really would rather put a no blacks allowed on the window if they could we got overlooked the whole time of been here and me and my fiancé or African American we was not provided with any utensils or napkins to eat I guess we was suppose to eat with our fingers the waitress was busy helping other tables we waited over 10min another black couple came in why we was waiting they was seated and waited over 10min for a waitress to come and ask what they wanted to drink so finally I got fed up on how I was feeling so I waved down another waitress to help me and my fiancé to get a to go box because at this point I was ready to go and I will never be back the drinks was nasty and we told the manager and he says really we serve this all day everyday and he says that's why we tell customers to be sure what they want to drink because you still will be charged for the drink and it's signs saying this as well I said where is the sign he said at the bar I said well sir we did not sit at the bar to see the sign the drink at the table still with a full glass so he refunded the drink ok but the service was horrible never again I...

TERRIBLE SERVICE AND FOOD! I went for a quick bite to eat with my sister. Our waiter didn’t get to the table 15 minutes after we sat down just to get our drink orders. Even then we had to wait an additional 10 minutes for him to bring it to our table. I ordered 6 wings and was advised that it would take 15 minutes. That’s totally fine. But 15 minutes turned into 40. A party of 10+ and another party of 4 got their food way before us. I literally ordered 3 things. Our waiter wasn’t attentive at all. He never came over to check on us to see how we were or update us on the status of our order. I had to wave him down to ask and he said, “I’ll go check.”. When the wings finally did come, they were COLD as if they had been sitting for some time. Again, I tried to get the attention of the waiter but he kept avoiding me. I didn’t make a scene but I was visibly fed up. I’ll never ever come back to this establishment. I totally understand that places are short staffed and I would never add more stress to people who are diligently working.
