It is a wonderful place filled with amazing art from all sorts of ages and art styles. I was amazed by how many artists the museum was able to acquire. They even had a piece from Pablo Picasso. Just Beautiful!!! One of the best attractions when visiting Raleigh. Museum park outdoor gardens and displays are great for entire family, and East and West buildings are filled with inspiring and colorful works of art from contemporary to traditional to old world. Totally worth your time. Yes, they only have a smattering of each epoch, but they do such a good job explaining the artifacts that you can linger in each side room for a good while. I only saw four rooms in three hours, but learned a lot by reading all the wall texts. And great news: it's all free (unless there is a...
