UPDATE Someone from the regional office reached out to me but was not very helpful. They seem to only worry about good reviews, instead of good customer service. Part of my purchase was on a HSA account and the other part was under my insurance. I reached out to my insurance company for help as I would lose the benefits for this year. Since it was close to the end of year, the return would take months to complete, and I could not use the insurance until it cleared, I had very limited options.
My insurance company suggested that I go to another VisionWorks store to see if they could transfer the insurance coverage from one store to another since it was the same company. I did that and was surprised to get very good service at the Old Town Cypress store; however, it was over 60 miles away from where I lived. The people at the Cypress store were great. I highly recommend the Cypress Old Town store. They confirmed that the Rosenberg store used the wrong measurements, but also used the wrong type of lens material. Now I have 3 pair of glasses that work, The one I got from another store that took 3 hours to make and 2 from VisionWorks that took almost 2 months to complete.
This Visionworks in Rosenberg went downhill. I have been going here for years and never had any issues. This time I got 2 pair of glasses. When I went to pick them up, I could see clear with each eye individually, but would see double vision with both eyes. They said it was the prescription. I went back to my dr and he rechecked me and said it was visionworks fault. This happened 3 times over the next 3 to 4 weeks. The 2nd time I agreed for them to only remake one pair until the issue could be resolved. The last remake still had the issue. I believe their machine that measured my eyes was off because they got 3 different measurements on three different machines.
Since they tried 3 times to get this right and did not, I requested them to stop and refund my money. They said they will refund my card and I asked for a receipt. They said the refund can take up to a month on FSA or HSA cards to occur. I asked for all the paper work associated with what happened so I could go to another store. The employee, Ms S Reyna, refused to provide me a receipt and the paper work. I asked again for the receipt as all businesses are required to provide for every transaction. She refused to provide a receipt and called the Rosenberg police. Once the police arrived, they asked me to step outside and I did. I also told the police what happened. I asked if they could get my receipt. They got me the receipt, but It took them over 30 minuets as it appeared to be some sort of arguing between Ms Reyna and the officer at the main counter.
I then left and went to a different eye glasses place with the same prescription and had glasses that worked correctly...
Read moreThey never called to tell me my glasses were ready. I had to call and check on them. Once I was able to go and pick them up, nobody acknowledged that I had walked in the door. I stood at the counter watching a man help a customer (I understand him not being able to assist me, he was diligently helping someone else). There was another worker on the phone, so I waited until she hung up assuming she would come over to the front counter to help me. She did not. She continued to ignore me and type on the computer. She then took ANOTHER phone call while I was standing there waiting. After she hung up the 2nd call. I walked over and ask if she would be able to help me, she didn’t respond. So I walked closer and asked AGAIN if she would be able to help me.. without even looking up at me she said “give me 2 seconds”… so after 20 minutes of not being acknowledged or taken care of, I finally was able to pick up my glasses. I wish I had gotten her name yesterday. She was short with me and incredibly Unwelcoming or unapologetic about me having to wait. Keep in mind, there are only 2 customers in the store at this time and one of them is me.. they were not busy, she was just not interested in helping me. I will not be returning. Spoke with Samathan very rude couldn't give me a answer on where my glasses are told her this is not acceptable. Samathan hung up in my face . Samathan had no clue very rude will never use there service again now it will be more days . if i could give a 0 i would.
