Game Store done RIGHT! Welcoming, open, relaxing atmosphere! There is an exploration room where you are welcome to play any game in there with no lists, forms, fees, whatsoever! A snack bar with several snacks items at very reasonable prices, or you can bring your own food (with paying extra close attention to what is on your fingers when you are playing a game, and the courtesy to use napkins before your turn). So many tables around the store to hang out, play games, and some areas are themed! We stayed and check everything out for over an hour and I am so excited to go back and try some games out! Family friendly, except on the adult gaming night which is for adults only, of course. Well done, well done! Some of our favorite aspects is game component displays for a few games. Some games were displayed with the board and components set up as you would to play the games! We like the unique variety of games and she stalks many paints, miniatures, and tools for tabletop gaming! Oh and her prices are very reasonable. Their is a gentleman that sells cards in the shop and his prices are very reasonable and he also carries secret lairs in singles which I personally prefer due to not wanting every card in the set also he has a lot of cards I don't normally see in other shops. I highly recommend...
Read moreI have two young kids getting started into Pokémon and D&D. I personally know nothing about it, but we've been looking for a place for them to play and learn and have fun. After being somewhat underwhelmed by other card shops, we found Queen's Realm. It's huge! Very inviting. The owner, who is a very engaging and charismatic woman, presents it as a community center rather than a game shop. They even have Teen events that cater to younger crowds which was a huge plus for me. We stopped for awhile and played some games in their free board game library. I definitely feel good about bringing my kids here to start their...
