Read moreI normally don't take the time to write a review unless a business was either outstanding or awful, and I am very pleased to say that our experience with this business was outstanding. My mom and I went shopping here last night to buy a retirement gift for one of her friends at work. The store was very clean, well organized, had a fun and relaxed atmosphere, the employees were all very welcoming and polite, they were all very fun and helpful, I even had an employee there who came over to help me dig for red Starbursts out of the barrel as he told me "I'll keep digging for as many as you'd like, just tell me when." Everyone we encountered there was very professional but maintained a great sense of humor, it felt like we were among friends, not just people trying to sell us things, any questions we had were answered very quickly and with accuracy, if we asked one person a question and they did not know the answer, they quickly got it from someone else who did and got back to us. Prices are very fair and reasonable, I appreciate the environment, especially as someone who also works in retail. There were several times when we accidentally knocked a few things down (as many other customers did too, little pieces of candy piled high in large open barrels, it happens), and not once did the employees look or seem annoyed or irritated (I work in a clothing store, and when things get knocked over we all get annoyed, especially when it happens repeatedly). Thanks to the great selection, reasonable prices, and extremely clean store and extremely friendly and welcoming staff, I will gladly be going back as soon as I need to refill...
Read moreWhen you come here, you notice a lot of associates in a somewhat aerial view of the store as their form of loss prevention. I’ve come to this place for a very long time until recently. I came in here one time with my mom and little brother, and we overheard one of the associates say “watch the kid in the blue jacket” over their little radios as we walked through the door. It just so happened that the kid in the blue jacket was my little brother, a 16 year old black male. I then throughout my time in the store noticed that almost every person on their little balcony was staring at us, despite the store being completely PACKED. We continued to walk around the store, while being under very close surveillance when another random customer stopped me and my mom and told us “You need to get out of here and not buy nothing from these people, these people are radioing about you, saying that they’ve got eyes on you wherever you go because they think you are trying to steal.” The crazy thing was that we already knew they were, and that random customer confirmed it. In the moment, I felt very racially profiled, and I vow to never give this place my business again, and if...
