Sure, here's a comical review:
If you've ever wondered what it’s like to experience pure cinematic joy wrapped in snark, then rush to your nearest (slightly outdated) movie theater to catch "Deadpool and Wolverine"! Imagine a blend of side-splitting humor, intense action, and two of the most charismatic anti-heroes gracing the screen. It’s like a buddy cop movie, but with more claws and sass.
Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool continues to be the merc with a mouth we never knew we needed this badly, and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine is as gruff and lovable as ever. Their on-screen chemistry is explosive; I laughed so hard, I almost spilled my popcorn (but rest assured, I didn’t—it's a precious commodity).
Now, let’s talk about the theater. While the movie was a visual treat, the theater itself could use a bit of TLC. The seats were so old that I felt like I was sitting on a relic from Wolverine's early days. And I swear, one of the cup holders tried to hug my drink tighter than Deadpool clinging to his chimichangas.
Despite the theater's vintage charm, the movie's brilliance shone through. If you can handle a bit of retro ambiance, you're in for a ride as exhilarating as Deadpool's zany antics and Wolverine's ferocious action scenes. Just make sure to bring a cushion—your butt might thank you later.
Overall, "Deadpool and Wolverine" is a must-see, even if the theater could use an upgrade. But hey, who needs fancy seats when you’re laughing your guts out? Grab your tickets and prepare for a wild, hilarious, and...
Read moreCons: GO TO THE THEATRES THAT GIVE OPTION TO RESERVE SEATS ONLINE!!! It doesn't matter how early you stand in line to go to a feature you still may not get a good seat. Patrons that attend here are allowed to save 3,4 even 5 seats for the "friend they're waiting on". Management was told by an additional line of people ALREADY PRESENT filled with complaints about this inconvenience. Manager Hanford was the one I spoke to and he said "They allow people to save seats! It's not a rule they have there." Only when we went back and forth and I advised he fix the problem; he tried to help and instead of asking people to move they stuff he directed us to seats way in the front. Wth?? The other manager was just encouraging people to trade tickets (paying difference) for another showing!! So if the next showing is IMAX or 3D; goodluck!. I advise that if such a rule is allowed, at least tell people save 1 seat per seated person. I totally understand the other party going to the snackbar while the other finds a seat. You literally seen seats (almost rolls) with jackets, purses, shoes, even a gallon of water bottle in seats being saved. If I wasn't with my kid, please believe I'd threw someone's mess to the screen and sat down! Sooooo many people had the same issue. Trust me, go elsewhere unless you want to search for a seat for 20 minutes and still sit in row 2 at the screen.
Pros: Good sized parking lot! And short lines at...
Read moreAlright. It's a bit outdated because of the stadium seats, which are super uncomfortable. You have maybe a foot of space in front for your feet and that's it. It's like you're in an airplane seat the entire time and your back is being destroyed, you can't recline and no leather seats. The screens are also damaged and you can see the massive lines of glue going down the screen. It literally looks like someone threw a drink at the top of the screen and it just leaked down it. Also way too many kids. Kicking the back of your seat the entire movie, running around the entire theater, up and down the stairs and talking. It's extremely annoying and ruined the movie experience. They do have laser projectors, Dolby sound and plenty of bathrooms. The retro feel is really cool, so that's a plus. I wouldn't recommend watching anything here outside of 4DX. Definitely won't be coming here outside of 4DX or ScreenX, I drive an hour just for those screens. But pass on the regular screens guys. Like I said, they have laser projectors but there's not much of a difference compared to the Xenon bulbs and their screens are messed up. My home Regal is in El Dorado Hills, maybe we're just spoiled with the nicer theater and seating, but c'mon Regal. Even the IMAX seats at the El Dorado Hills location are leather and comfortable but...
