Unprofessional approaching manager to ask for my identification to show it to another customer which is totally illegal.
So we were a group of people who was there for lunch and I have certified animal (small dog shihtzu) which was very hygiene and we'll behaved. I even showed him an ID that supported that he is my service animal.
They were fine with it in the beginning, so we served our food which was buffet and started eating. The manager suddenly approached us for the ID again and without permission took it to show it to the other table customers who claimed to be from some legal department but never showed their ID even when asked.
We had to stop eating our food in the between and leave because the person who claimed that he is from the legal department threatened us all that he would write a ticket and we should be paying him for it right there.
The reason they gave us is that my dog did not have a vest which is not illegal cause I showed them his certified ID.
This made me and my friends very unhappy and threatened, and it was provoking and disturbing when I asked them that I am going to report them and I need their details. Him(the customer) and the manager acted as if nothing happened.
This is an idiotic criteria they made and did not finish well. Unacceptable and should be lawfully reported.
There was no sorry or even an apology for the...
Read moreI’m not sure why this place is suddenly getting 1 star? It makes no sense. Ive been eating here for years and have never had a complaint. The food is great and I’ve always had amazing service. I feel that people think, because they can eat in a restaurant and type up a quick review on google, they are professional foodies. Ummm… no. You had a meal in a restaurant. That’s it. That doesn’t make you special. Giving a business one star simply because there is not enough ice cubes in your water or the waiter didn’t smile enough is just flat out ridiculous. Maybe remove one star because the waiter didn’t smile enough… not four! People need to use common sense and logic in their reviews. If you don’t like something, try something else. You can’t judge an entire menu or place just because there was a “little too much frosting on my cupcake!” Did the cake or filling taste good??? Were the waiters attentive? Were they quick to correct their mistake? I love this place and have zero complaints. Don’t listen to the haters on google. I highly recommend this place! And, no, I’m not friends with the owner. I’ll continue to eat here and have an amazing experience. Keep up the good...

Do not miss out on the chicken tikka masala! That's the middle cup in the picture(sorry it's a bit messy). It's my favorite dish at their buffet. To the India Oven management- dont you dare change the recipe! I've tried a handful of other places and theirs are close but do not taste the same. Now I know that different regions of countries have the same dishes but add something here and there that is common in their area. However, India Oven's is the best. It's got somethg to do with the tomato flavor, just a guess.
All their other items that I've eaten are on the tasty side and not bland as I've experienced at some other buffet places. Well, let's just say I've noticed less blandiness- not a word, I know- at this restaurant. I would put their chana masala on the bland side.
I love the idea of not having the naan bread sitting out as it is prepared when you sit at your table. Fresh and hot is the key! And you can get garlic nan at your request at no extra charge.
The atmosphere is enhanced with the music and the decor. The staff do their job, although they may need to smile more sometimes. Right now, it's still my go to for...
