Mr. Crab — Restaurant in Sacramento

It's OK. We were there at opening time midweek so no one else was in the restaurant. We had a group of six. The food is decent and market price. I've been to places like this before, and there were more options to make a full rounded meal. Not just potatoes, corn, and seafood. Absolutely smothered in several pounds of butter and garlic. Lots of breaded deep fried items. Our server was slow, didn't follow up frequently, and didn't provide plates, napkins, utensils, either at all or in a timely manner. Since 18% gratuity is automatically applied to the bill; I guess they don't really have to work for their tip, and it shows. I don't think it's a bad place to eat. I'm just not interested in going back because i've already experienced other places that I would prefer and I don't live close to...

I went here with a friend who's never been here, walked in and the host was very nice, the waitress had a wonderful attitude. I ordered what I had craving for and when our food came, it was the wrong order, i thought it was ours as the waitress had mentioned the happy hour, started eating and 10 minutes later another person is coming with our order, long story short, waitress offered to replace the current order with what we had order, told her it was okay, we were not charged for full price on this other meal, food its always delicious no matter what you order, great ambiance, great staff attitude. I always come out happy and my friend was extremely satisfied, being pregnant and all. :-) sorry, i have not upload photos from my phone, but food...

A couple of girlfriends in myself went here for lunch today June 2, 2024. We all got the Combo B with various spiciness levels. We thought that the seasoning was good and flavorful; as well as the shrimp and crab being cooked well. We were enjoying our food until a roach ran out of the paper towel roll across the table. I captured the insect and we called over the waitress. They phoned the manager who was not there at the time then offered to comp the food and provide a free item. We declined the free item and did not finish the meal. I understand bugs live everywhere, however running across the table at a restaurant is not acceptable.
