Firestone Complete Auto Care — Attraction in Saddle Brook

I've been coming here to this Saddle Brook location 5 years now. And I really appreciate them. When I first came I dealt with Manny he was awesome and one of the most honest ppl I've dealt with in this business. Since then I deal with Ken and Mike. What can I say they too are awesome. Love these guys. If u you want the best experience with Firestone this is it. I've gone to other Firestone locations and sorry to say they don't compare. Saddle Brook Firestone is 5 star treatment all the way. Always positive experience avid they are polite and patient. I ask a million questions and they always answer me with respect. And the beauty of it all is they don't take advantage that I'm a woman. They don't over charge and are always willing to work with me and my budget. Plz keep up the good work guys.

Update: last few times I went not so great service, nor honoring package services previously purchased. Let's see what I'm told today when I call. Because it's really hard to believe that someone had a 7:00 a.m. appointment for an alignment when I've been told the alignment technician doesn't come in until 9:00 a.m. or after and I've had to sit there for hours literally practically till close time for my vehicle to get service even though I left it overnight and I had a 7:00 a.m. appointment. This location used to be one of my favorites and it used to have really decent employees but over the last couple of years the service has not been up to par and the prices that they charge are ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what I was quoted to replace my struts in the front was $1900 that is insane. So I shall call and see this time around, how I am treated and what price is they quote me for a simple Standard Oil Change. Sorry I had to take the five stars out and put three hopefully later on today I can post another update and bring it back up to five stars... we shall see.

UPDATE : Just called and spoke with Kev, he was polite on the phone and he was able to answer my question regarding any sales currently for a standard oil change, he informed me yes they do have some sales going on quoted me $33 and we set up an...

Let me start by saying my husband has gone here several times and loves this place. If he was writing a review it would be 5 stars, unfortunately for me, I had a terrible experience here and would not be likely to return.

I don't like writing bad reviews, and don't want to mess with people's business but if you are going to use this location it's only fair to know that these types of issues go on.

I brought my car in for a synthetic oil change and for them to check my breaks and tires. They never called to let us know the status but they did say they tried. Fair enough. It ended up I needed rear breaks and they had to order the part. Again no problem.

When I got home I looked over the receipt and while it had our name on it, the address and telephone number was wrong. No big deal, John was able to sort that out for us. Hopefully avoiding any further issues.

They said they would call when the part was in, they didn't. I had to call them, but ok, maybe they were busy. I bring my car in at 11am. They said I'd receive an email which I never did, so I called back at 210pm and they said they resend it, it never came. Clearly they must have the wrong email address. They said they call when it was ready for pick up. By 5pm we still did not receive a call. I call back and I'm told that they had received the wrong part and the car wasn't ready...

I needed it for work so I picked it up. They said they would call me when the correct part arrive.. .. They didn't!

I called them and that Friday (mind you I'm taking days off and working from home to accommodate them) and they said they had the part but it wasn’t logged in. They said to give them 1hr 30 min. I told them I was not comfortable bringing in my car until the part was logged and they knew for certain it was the right one. I was told they call me in a hour and a half.... They still haven't called and that was 9 days ago.

Today I'm getting the brakes replaced somewhere else.

Again, my husband has nothing but excellent experiences with them, so I may be an anomaly but chasing after a business so I can pay them to do work for me just...

I've been to this place multiple times for new tires and a few small repairs. The service was always good and the staff seemed to know what they are doing, regardless of the overly long wait times.

Date of visit: 12/27/17 Recently I had an issue with my power steering not working and when I lifted the hood there was fluid splattered all over the place. I took it here to diagnose the source of the leak and get it repaired. After nearly 2 hours I was told that everything (Rack/Pinion/Pressure Hose/Pump) needed to be repaired/replaced and it would run me $1,465.67, labor included. The guy who explained all the issues seemed genuinely honest and knowledgeable, so I thought nothing of it. I was told by the same person that if I tried to just refill the power steering fluid it wouldnt even work for a short while and that it was pointless. Afterwards I looked under the hood and it looked like nothing was moved at all. I could be wrong but it seemed like they took 2 hours just to look at what I already saw and assumed because the fluid was everywhere that everything was broke. I couldn't afford the repair so I went 5 months with no power steering. About 2-1/2 weeks ago I got an oil change and part of the service is they refill your power steering fluid (during the oil change not one person working there said there was an issue with my power steering and usually this place gives my car a good check up during the service). After they were finished I went to turn my wheel and was shocked when it turned normally. Needless to say its been over 2 weeks and not only is my power steering still working fine, but the level of fluid hasn't moved an inch since my oil change and I check it constantly. Whether or not the leak is microscopic or the fluid being everywhere was some kind of freak accident, this place misdiagnosed my car and almost had me waste $1500 on an issue that would of cost me nearly nothing in time and money. Because of this I reccommend avoiding this place at all costs and if you need a tire change go down the street to Riverside Tires...
