Parthenon Waterfront Tiki Bar — Restaurant in Safety Harbor

We live here having tried several times to support this place but are forced to go elsewhere since it's usually understaffed, especially on the wknds, forget about trying to get a drink if there is any sort of outdoor function which is most times. Why they don't have a devoted bar for events on the promenade is beyond me... The drinks are very inconsistent, no quality control for taste then to top it off they charge $24 for frozen pinacolada w/a floater, absurd! On many occasions, the bar staff cannot keep track of who's next, waiting more than 20mins while being overlooked many times, then finally giving up deciding to go elsewhere having to wait another 15 mins just to close out tab. Rarely is there any proactive management around to monitor the situation, even in the lobby lounge service is terrible. It is not covid related either, like...

Amazing food every time. Some of the most deliciously cooked fries I have ever had at a restaurant. Every time I am at the hotel I only eat here . Consistently great food.👌🤌 I usually get a basic BLT sandwich but today I tried their grouper sandwich. It was okay,would have been better if it had some kind of a sauce on the sandwich. It was very dry and all I got way ketchup for my fries. Grouper was very nicely seasoned! (Blackened) Service can be a little slow. There were times when I sat at the bar top and for 20 minutes no one even acknowledged me there or said hello. Had to get up in front of the bartender to order something.... It took 23 minutes for me to get a drink. They are either woefully understaffed or the process is awful. People just crowd around the bar trying to get the bartender’s attention so there is no proper order or proper place to stand in a orderly line to order food and drinks. They should have waiter/waitress staff for the tables around the bar. Will definitely not be back here unless we bring our own drinks :)

I honestly can’t imagine how much money they are losing each day by people who just walk away or cannot order food and drinks as fast as they want to. Someone should call Bar Rescue.
