My wife, I and our 10 year old grandson was strolling down St George Street one evening and we were stopped and talking about what to do. Scott was walking by us and started a conversation about various activities and mentioned his museum "Treasure Chest Hands on History Experience." We were interested in finding a family activity that didn't involve an electronic device and that was educational but fun at the same time. The Treasure Chest is that and more! The "more" are the individuals that own, manage and teach at the museum. Scott went completely out of his way and walked us to his museum and gave us a fabulous hands on experience that we all loved.
We learned about repairing a ships sail and other interesting manual tasks that we had to do hundreds of years ago, we made candles and a strand of rope from simple strands of fiber. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Scott is one of those individuals that has great passion for teaching in a fun and memorable way. Scott made one of those impressions that will never be forgotten and very much appreciated! Thank you for what you do and we will be definitely be doing other tours and activities offered by your company.
