All the plants I bought were healthy looking plants but if not treated they can severely still have fungal issues. In fight process as long is the pots are not moved but if you shake them causing transplant shock it will spread the infection, The place Is a scam. There needs to be fungicide to keep healthy plants on top before watering’s.That way the fungal infections doesn’t travel to the roots.(The soil is moisture retaining for 80 or 90 degrees like most outdoor sellers. Talked to the seller they use heaters in the grow era in the closure. Not suitable for home. It’s not air rated. (It can be in high degree weather.)(a lot outdoor growers do the same) šŸ‘‰The place is scam, a lot of the plant’s ,s I bought are dead. It’s like shopping at Home Depot here. A lot of fungal plants. They may look healthy but you can see some of them have early blight, brown spot. Brown spot is bad but, Stem rot fungal is a plant killer. Early blight not so much., but make sure you know about fungal issue with plants. No place test’s it soil which is simple and cheap. They don’t replace there fungal plants that die.(early blight fungal, steam rot fungal, root rot fungal, brown spot fungal.) which are the ones mine had, it can last up to years in soil.Best bet is to buy it of Etsy and use PayPal for purchase.(that way you can file claim through them and get your money.THERE’S NO REFUNDS (transplant shock from car ride can spread the fungal through the plant.)i fungicide mine and I had couple plants die. Some where ok and some were not. so, it’s a gamble at this place. If you buy 500 dollar plant here you will not get your money back.all my plants looked healthy but where in middle of fighting the fungal issue.plus after I bought some I asked after because it was Black Friday deals about the policy. I also asked if they had Fungal issues. šŸ‘‰The owner lied to my face and said no my plants don’t have fungal issues .(clearly you could tell on how much from the plant showing Fungal issues)(Also they had a whole back row of fungal plants, in the way back on metal shelf) I just had one plant that died, then the domino effect happened. One after another and another I’m talking expensive plants that looked healthy all due to stem rot fungal and root rot which you can’t see.Plus you have to wait a little while after bringing them home to repot.I started at Home Depot buying and it was the same thing there like it is at lost in forest. it first happened with domino effects of plants dying for me at Home Depot as well.it’s sad to say, but don’t buy from Here there nothing you can do to save those plants that are two far gone after transplant shock spreads the fungal infection the plant is done for. If they fungicide there plants before hand and had a number system plus soil testing they would be a 5 star place. I saved some of my plants but all of them had a issue’s.(Again your going to have a sick plant if you buy from here.)(No refunds , fungal plant sellers are scam artists)(When a plant is infected it can take months to recover. It also can not last for dormancy it will spread even more)(I posted some plants that lived I don’t over water got a meter and a stick to test the soil)(plus I know my soil)Buy off eBay there’s money back guarantee same with Etsy and but not PayPal. Do your research everyone, there images on google. The images on the fungicide bottles shows the same as the picture.(Beware of Etsy plants, most run the same as this place.)All the ones the didn’t die I didn’t file claim.(Not bragging it’s just normal to do) Put a fan on your plants is what I was told by a different place.)There was no explanation from staff on issues(rust, brown spot, early blight)scammer move to sell.(ETSY just as bad).in photos you can see the issues.Seen to many quick reviews.Good luck buying from fungal plant seller. Stem rot fungal/bacterial is at a high at lost in forest.so beware and good luck keeping a plant alive. In those photos is her soil, google how long fungal issues last in soil. If your plant die’s go back and change...

I am writing this post to beware future customers on the lack of willingness to take responsibility as a company for a fault. I understand I am too at fault for not working within their minuscule time frame (a ploy to never have to fulfill refunds outside of perfect conditions). The lack of acknowledgment and accountability for wrong doing is sickening I have done a lot in horticulture and have received a bachelors in biology and science so I feel confident at understanding that when I opened the box for the first time having gnats fly off my plant is never a good sign let alone for my 100+ other plants I have managed for the last six years! Also who sends a succulent in soil that’s wet and moldy? Apologies, I transplanted the succulents I could from my 20+ plant order, the soil and gnats were unacceptable and were not even acknowledged.I don’t understand how that allows for whoever tried to resolve this to have treated me like an imbecile! Picture is the baby toes for tens dollars a little soggy but I removed the damaged specimens the first day and some are still continuing to show more damage then the lithops… I ordered the 20+ plant lithops in the picture those are the bigger pot which is less than an inch deep but some how to big for the plant per whomever is speaking with me through LOST IN THE FOREST, also its house lithops for the last twenty years which is why I ordered some as I need to re fill the pot. When I get my lithops there is less than 8 that have an actual root system! Either the owner is lying to themselves or employees to owner because their succulents are not properly taken care of idc if you started a basement nursery in 2020 you don’t seem to understand customer service or basic science! That last picture is an example to the company of a healthy lithop that hasn’t been over watered and left is soaking perlite and soil mix I wouldn’t plant a...

I have been following the growth and success of LITF since it first began with their initial garage plant sales . Forrest, Adrian and their team learn and grow with their customer base and all the while are innovative, friendly and encouraging!

Forrest has a deep care for equipping new students in the plant world with the right tools, useful information about their new plants, and the best chunky potting mix in the cities.

LITF is motivated to help us grow as plant parents. She has made space for community via classes and events for curious and loyal plant heads.

The store is lovely! A huge selection of plants and gifts are around every corner. Even if you are windowshopping, you could stand outside and be there for a long time noticing the vast number of pots and plants!! If you're lucky, you'll see Forrest and Adrian's cute pups šŸ•. Forrest and Adrian are excellent with our kids- They always have a blast exploring the store and find new things each visit.

Some of my most loved plants are from LITF. I often reach out to Forrest for questions about soil, pesky pests and other misc. things. She is prompt in her responses and has great recommendations at the ready.

I have and will recommend a visit to Lost in the Forrest to friends who want to get started with their first houseplant as well as those who have a home...
