Salem Plaza — Attraction in Salem

It's pretty large, and can even be considered extended if you like to shop at Target &/or Hallmark, too, plus home depot at the complete opposite end. The major downfall is the consistent cluster of traffic going in & coming out of either of the 2 main entrances during hours of operation, and it truly does drag most of my 5-star experiences with this plaza down to a 2-3-star rating every time. It's also ridiculous how long you could sit at the set of lights adjacent to McDonald's coming from N going S, making a left turn into plaza. I seriously dread the ugly cycle of the lights, it sometimes ends up being a deal-breaker for me in regards to choosing which store locations to shop...

Today was the busiest I've seen in over a year. I got surprisingly lucky with a good parking spot. Market Basket was quite crowded - a variety of masked, partially masked and no masks. They don't ask you if you're vaxxed or not but they do have a sign upon entering that if you are fully vaccinated, you don't have to wear it.

They are slowly getting inventory levels back to where they were for certain items.

The other stores in the plaza seemed to be brisk as well. Only bad thing was that BJs, while technically not IN the plaza but right next to it, had their whole computer system crash so I couldn't pick up my order which was pretty ridiculous since they...

Salem Plaza, Salem, N.H. Broadway has everything you would need, Market Basket (2), Home Depot, plenty of places to eat like a brand new Kelly's Roast Beef, it's a very long street North and South Broadway, this is in the Rockingham area with a new shopping area at Tuscan Village. Both sides of the street are lined with stores and shops and Target, BJ'S Ocean State Job Lot. Further North on N. Broadway is Walmart and more on South Broadway. Enjoy yoursrlf with no taxes.

I think this will become a normal go to spot like...
