The Utah State Capitol in Salt Lake City truly stands out. The building is massive, beautifully designed, and full of detail — it really feels like something out of a movie. What’s great is that it’s open to the public, so you can walk through the halls, admire the artwork, and take in the architecture up close.
The view from the top is also incredible. You get a full view of the city with the mountains in the background, and on a clear day, it honestly looks like a postcard. It’s one of those places that reminds you just how unique and beautiful this country is.

The space surrounding the building does not have many trees so there aren't places where you can get out of the sun. The building has public tours but the timing wasn't right so we missed that.
