My husband and I came to this location after so much anticipation of its opening and we were not disappointed. The color scheme is so adorable, fresh and inviting. Lots of items from which to select as well as tons of colors and devices to create your masterpiece. I really liked the finished texas' that gave the paints true color...it made selection so much easier.
The staff were delightful, helpful and patient. They explained the process and different techniques when creating your piece. If I had anything negative to say which is not a negative but something to take note of is there were tiny pin holes (maybe from air bubbles) in my piece which left me wondering if the mug would be compromised when washing. However after a few months of almost daily use and handwashing and 1 time accidentally putting in dishwasher it is holding up well!
*Helpful hint if using marble technique: try to do one pour over piece and if swirling to cover do so minimally. Specifically for a mug marbling outside first, dry, sand rim and then do inside as my husband's mug has unevenness from excess...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBeen here twice now and the second time I called beforehand to make sure our pieces were ready for pickup. They said yes so I get there and the girl asks for my name. Then my number. Then what pieces we painted. She then goes to the back for a very long time and comes back asking what colors we used on our pottery. I said what do you mean you canāt find our pieces? Well someone apparently hadnāt registered our items at checkout as I guess they take pictures along with the receipt and that was not done. I then stated I had called beforehand and they said our pieces were ready for pickup. I asked if I could go in the back and find out items and she instead said sheād bring a bucket out for me to look through. I was really very irritated at this point. They finally located our pieces but really? Please look into this to make sure something like this does not happen to anyone else. Truly not a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst time at Clay Casa for my daughterās 8th birthday on June 28th. The staff was friendly but did the minimum in assisting the group. We had 9 kids total in attendance. The description on the website at booking said games would be played during the party which wouldāve been great as the kids sat bored for a good amount of the party. No games were offered or played. For the cost of the party and the included gratuity of $80 I expected a better experience. I was told we would get a call a week after to pickup the finished work. Two weeks had passed and had not received a call so I called and was put on hold several times because they couldnāt find the finished pieces for our group. I was told they were there and ready for pickup so we went in and again the staff was lost as to where they were. This place is not organized enough to give a good kids...
