Monterrey Furniture Rustic and more — Attraction in San Antonio

I live out of state. I purchased a table from FB Marketplace from a lady in Idaho. She originally purchased the table in San Antonio, Texas. The table is beautiful, solid wood. It came with four chairs and a bench seat. After a Google image search, I realized that the table was sold at Monterrey Furniture. I really wanted to add another chair so we would have seating for eight people. I called and worked with Jose. He was very kind and helpful. He ordered me another chair. I paid them for the chair and to box and wrap it for shipping. They boxed it up, and I arranged for a UPS pick up today. I can’t wait for my new chair to arrive! I would highly recommend doing business with them. I just wish I lived close enough to shop at this store on a regular basis!

Update- Unfortunately, my long awaited chair was delivered today and one of the back legs was broken in shipping. The overall quality of the chair isn’t quite as nice as the four chairs I already have. There are a couple of pretty rough spots on the seat and the seat isn’t stained nearly as dark as the four chairs that I already have. I hope that there will be a good...

Purchased a table paid in full measurements were taken of my vehicle to ensure the table would fit. I agreed to return on the next day because they stated the table wasn’t complete it had to have another clear coat application finishing. I returned the next day to pick up my table only to have them tell me it won’t fit in my truck even though they measured it Just the night before. I’m giving a poor review because they failed in the customer service department . the owner or manager of the store basically put his hands in the air and said oh well it’s not my fault . I didn’t appreciate that in addition he wanted to charge me to have them deliver it .they even told me that I can go rent a trailer . I wouldn’t be leaving a review and I wouldn’t have left so angry if they would’ve offered a little more help in addition if they were measurement would have been done accurately I could’ve very easily have just found my husband’s pick up truck and there would not have been this problem. This was a huge inconvenience for me drive out here to pick up a table just to leave empty-handed and for them...

I custom designed a table with Jose at Monterrey — I had never done anything like this before, and he was so patient and knowledgeable through the whole process. I couldn’t be happier with the result of my custom “hacienda table and bench” which literally started from me showing them pictures on Pinterest. The hand carved edges are stunning. The customer service was spectacular along the way (which included the first iteration of the table being not quite what we had in mind and being sent back). Jose was able to create my dream dining table — they can build anything — for a more than fair price. This was a wonderful experience in every way that counts. They are also members of the SA Hispanic Chamber of Commerce — support this amazing small business!
