Juice Joint — Restaurant in San Antonio

After reading other reviews, I definitely think we caught them on an off day. The place smelled a little too much like compost / trash and it was pretty overwhelming at first. During the lunch hour, it seriously took 45+ minutes to get our bowls. There was only one staff member who took her time (which is ok especially if you're overwhelmed buuuuuut...), and I feel like Rise Up makes larger bowl for the same price.

With all that said, the bowls were still really good once we got them, and the inside is stupid cute. Lots of natural light, and I feel like it would be great to have all the doors opened a bit on a nice day. Good place to study if you're planning on hanging out...

This little place is so cute. Definitely seems like a place for college students but I had went to try their bowl and it was amazing. The front parking is a little tight but I did notice they did have a parking lot in the back. The cashier was real nice and helpful being it was my first time my. My bowl was amazing. You can pick your best toppings and superfood they also add granola and honey if you like. I got the blue majik with banana, strawberry pineapple and kiwi, my superfood was cocoa nibs and goji berries I got agrave& granola on top as well. Great staff. Everyone was smiling and welcoming. On my first time in it was kind of slow and the lady helping me allowed me to sample everything I wasn't familiar with so I could make the right decision. The bowls are delicious and I love the juices and smoothies as well. For the juices, I like mine with a little more spike from ginger or citrus but theirs was a little rounder from the fruit content. That's not a bad thing, in fact others might prefer that, but it's not my preference. Still easily 5 stars though of course.
