La Jolla Music Society's new theater is beautiful. We were there not too long after it opened, and it still smelled of freshly cut wood. The interior is all medium-toned wood and blue upholstery. It had a bit of a Danish Modern feel. It is a somewhat intimate place, as theaters go, and all the sightlines are good. I think there's probably not a bad seat in the house! Granted, this is the smallest venue I’ve been, but there should have been a warning somewhere somehow. Awfully presumptive on...
