Mary, Star of the Sea Catholic Church — Attraction in San Diego

Beautiful church with many services offered, including both Spanish and English language masses. Daily mass readings matched those for the first Advent Sunday. Good choir. No traditional Latin masses offered, though. Also, the Deacon took the lead on the Gospel reading, sermon and meeting parting parishioners after mass. Sad to see the paster taking the back seat as the shepherd, for the mass I attended, at least. I belong to Mary Star of The Sea for 20 years. I live in LaJolla California in the Summer and Phoenix Arizona in the Winter.I bought and paid for the Statue of our Blessed Mother which stands outside the church in Honor of my Mother Jayne....I also bought and paid for Jesus of the Abyss which is across the street from his mother Mary...I'M BLESSED TO HAVE DONE THIS FOR THE CHURCH FOR ALL TO...

I love this beautiful Catholic Church especially the inspirational Pastor, Fr Pat. His homilies always give me much enlightens into my soul. The 24 hour Adoration is one of my treasured experiences. The music and choirs are perfection. Thankyou to everyone who contributes.
