The beach is directly north of Windansea. It's good for bodysurfing the shorebreak if the water isn't murky (lots of seaweed here at times). Also good for skimboarding and surfing if the tides are right. Swimming not as much... like La Jolla Cove, the bottom is more rock than sand and drops off very quick.
The beach is more popular with younger people. No parking lot, but there is plenty of street parking. You'll need to walk down to the beach.
Marine St. is less crowded... however, you should've seen the place once they reopened...
